It’s been a week since the Herefordshire Summer School Games, and we're still buzzing! 📸 The day was packed with energy, fun, and plenty of opportunities for young people to try something new, from athletics and tennis to team challenges and inclusive activities. 🎯

It's been a week since the Worcester Summer Games! The @YourSchoolGames are an annual event that wouldn't be possible without the hard work of our School Games organisers, volunteers and sports leaders. We want to say a huge thank you. 🙌 Bring on 2026 Summer Games! 💪

The last result of the day… A huge congratulations to Orleton Primary School for taking home the Team of the Festival win for Athletics! 🏅 You sprinted to the finish line and took him 1st place in our awards ceremony… fantastic job! @stride_active

A huge well done to Peterchurch Primary School for their Team of the Festival win in Tennis! 🎾 They demonstrated brilliant accuracy. Some of the shots were better than what we’ve seen in Wimbledon so far… 👀 We can’t wait to see what you bring next year! 🤩 @stride_active

We wanted to say thank you to the Young Leaders who showed incredible support at Herefordshire School Games! None of this would be possible without their engagement and care. ❤️ A special shoutout to Kingstone High School for earning the Team of the Festival award in Skating!

Congratulations to Luston Primary School on their Team of the Festival award win in Cheerleading! 📣 They brought their moves to the athletics arena and impressed the deliverers with their dance skills! 🕺 A huge well done! @stride_active

Congratulations Longtown Community Primary School on your Team of the Festival award in Hockey! 🏑 Great shooting and teamwork throughout the whole day! We can’t wait to see what you bring to School Games 2026! 👀 @stride_active

We had a range of ball games on at Hereford @YourSchoolGames yesterday! Including Handball, throwing a ball into the opponent’s net, while defending their own. 🥅 Congratulations to Riverside Primary School for taking home the Team Festival win! 🎉 @stride_active

As well as winning the Team of the Festival in Golf, Much Birch Primary School also took home the award in Volleyball! 🏐 There was some excellent jumping and dunking on display! 🥇 Great job Much Birch Primary! 👏 @stride_active

Congratulations to Shobdon Primary School for their throwing, dipping and jumping in… Dodgeball! 🤾‍♂️ By far the most competitive game of the day, everyone showed great passion, teamwork and competitiveness! 👏 A big well done! @stride_active

Shoot, score and goal for Almeley Primary School! 🤩 Congratulations on taking home the Team of the Festival award in Football! You showed off your tackling, shooting and defending throughout the whole tournament! ⚽️ @stride_active

At Hereford @YourSchoolGames, we had Year’s 1,3 and 4 competing for the winning title in Multi-skills! 🥅 For Year 1, the Team of the Festival was Lugwardine Primary School! And, for Year 3 and 4, the Team of the Festival was Garway Primary School! 👏 @stride_active

A huge well done to Steiner Academy Hereford for their Team of the Festival win in Rugby! 🏉 They demonstrated great skills in tackling and worked together as a team to take home the award! 🤩 @stride_active

Congratulations to Much Birch Primary School for their excellent putting skills! 🏌️‍♀️ They took home the Team Festival Award! 🥇 We also want to praise the young leaders at John Kyle High School, who demonstrated amazing leadership and responsibility. 🙌 @stride_active

The results are in! 🤩 A huge congratulations to Bosbury Primary School for winning the Team of the Festival award in Rounders! There was some stiff competition on the pitch, but they showed amazing determination and teamwork, taking home the trophy! 🏆 @stride_active
