@stephz847847 for 2D graphics you can really use any pixel art software! I like aseprite. as for orchestrating the parts, it's all native DS engine functions that tell which part is to be rendered where. of course, basic knowledge abt nds architecture and graphic engines really helps!

@AdAstra_GL hey! i recently got into pokemon dev, and i was wondering what do you use to generate black and white graphics? it it a specific engine? do you code the base yourself? i'm only familiar with pokemon essentials

@AdAstra_GL This is so cool. The visuals, the way the camera settles in when you come to a stop, the music, THE UI. I know how difficult that UI can be. You might've heard this a million times over but I'll be the million and one'th god damnit, this is masterful work!

@An1Anri Not really. If you take a look at the pinned video, you'll see why they're very different projects. Also, unsure about the release date. There is a lot of coding, scripts, maps, original music etc. left to do

@SinscoShopSoon No worries. I can see why people would be confused looking at the videos! Backporting the Gen5 battle scene to Platinum would be a huge undertaking that I'm not yet ready for. I've done a lot of research on it and it IS feasible. Just incredibly painful. We'll see 😂
