Less skilled editors were making more than me. Here's why. I used to work part-time at McDonald's while editing videos for $20 a project on Fiverr, doing 4am revisions and still not making a real living. It sucked because no matter how hard I worked or how much I improved my editing, nothing changed. I sent outreach that got ignored. I applied to jobs that went nowhere. I ground harder on my skills and got zero results from it. Then one night I found a video of an editor claiming he was making $10,000/month. I opened his portfolio expecting god-tier work. It wasn't. I could replicate it. I could improve it. Yet he was making more in a weekend than I made in three months. That's when I realized I was playing the game wrong. Getting to $10K as an editor is 10% editing skills and 90% positioning, sales, and strategic thinking. The problem was never my skill. I was selling edits when I should have been selling performance. Which led me to: - scaling from $20/video to $1,500+/video. - going full-time. -coaching 500+ editors. - helping editors like Derek go from $0 to $10,000+/mo. I am preparing something NEW for 25 editors who want to scale to $5,000-$10,000/mo in the next 3 months. Comment YES and I'll send you the details.
