@upgradeblaine @Viggie_Smalls93 If you're active in your family's life and upbringing that is enough. My kids are so excited to see their dad after school every day because he has been active in their raising from day 1. Plays with them, reads to them, knows what they like and don't like etc.

@Viggie_Smalls93 Yea. Exactly. Men are required to develop a reason for their family to care about them.

I used to think this, but then I asked the follow up question which is “have I given anyone a reason to care about me”? And when I didn’t like the answer to that question I started to change things
Dear Friends@OhDear_Friend

CORRECT ME IF I'M WRONG BUT, I turn 38 this year and I have realised , as a man, no one cares about you. Not your wife. Not your family. Not your friends. Not your workmates. Nobody. People act like they care, but deep down, they don't. You are on your own. Always on your own.

@____soboro My little boy has a stuffed cat who looks like this and he was delighted when I showed him these drawings. He said "He's having dinner with me!"

@abike1999 @Lou_E_Blank Yeah exactly, I think its that childish bravado. They're copying what they see online, thos reflects poorly on us as adults we need to think about who is consuming this stuff and why it isnt being shut down

I really need to read more Middle English before Werwulf comes out but until then I love listening to songs in Middle English. If you’re interested in medieval ballads or Old English prayers Muco always does beautiful renditions. Everyone should check out his IG: bookofvoices

jet fuel spikes astronomically -> airline industry death spiral -> massive re-uptake of the road trip as the only viable form of vacation for many -> increases in vehicle autonomic systems + on board processing power + rudimentary AI personality models -> pixar Cars universe

@Kirsten3531 My eldest was also quite chill and they can be left alone for short periods to play together with all the baby gates shut, just not yet at the point i'd feel comfortable leaving them while I slept

Anything you remember about being a child probably happened after you turned 4. When parents describe their lives, they're usually describing what happened when their youngest was 3 or younger.
Madeline Grant@Madz_Grant

I've noticed amongst friends who have little kids that they are basically forced into waking up when they do. When I was little I remember v clearly knowing that we shouldn't go and wake parents until at least 9am on a weekend, and generally entertaining ourselves in the morning

One of the best public art projects I've seen. Grim park shelter turned into glorious roman-style mosaic menagerie, by the Hackney Mosaic Project.

It’s not every day that one gets to listen to a former British Prime Minister recite from memory the opening passages of The Iliad in Ancient Greek, with no notes, in response to a random question from an undergraduate—and all while wearing what appear to be Thomas The Tank Engine socks. But today was one such day. My thanks to my good friend Brad LaMorgese for the opportunity to see the colorful and comic Boris Johnson speak tonight at the University of Dallas.

Mortifying debate on GB News tonight for Matt Goodwin. The publication of his amateur book has completely trashed his reputation, just as he tried to trash anyone supporting Restore Britain. No one in Reform has publicly defended him. Miriam Cates did v good job as moderator.
