Whether we realized it or not, Helena giving Ada's Compact to Leon was very important which this will not change even if there's a remake for 6, the Compact itself hold important role for the future of their relationship... 1. Even if Leon hadn't met Ada after Lanshiang, he would still have her compact, which would always bind him to Ada, just like the bear charm, as we know Bear charm and Compact is her things, her owns. Every time he saw it, it would remind him of Ada, her sacrifice and her help in Lanshiang. In other words, the compact and the bear charm were the strings that bound Leon and Ada's lives together. (you don't want a relationship with a man who always keep his first love things right? So there's no way he tried to move on after what happend in lanshiang) 2. If Leon met Ada, he wouldn't let her go this time, because Leon's expression at the end truly showed his determination to her, especially when he learned that Ada saved him from being accused of assassinating the president and providing evidence of Simmons' crimes.
