not saying this was intentional bc this show doesn't gaf about writing abuse and rape in a respectful way, but for a split second i really thought homelander was about to rape ryan the same way he did his mom. this felt incestuous (the whole "my sweet boy" thing) and very rapey.

The CLAYFACE teaser we saw at #CinemaCon was set to a dark version of Do You Realize? by the Flaming Lips, showcasing a fallen-off actor who resorts to experimentation to make it big. The clay effects feel very horror-influenced, geared towards older audiences. JOKER-esque even.

The film tells the story of Digger Rockwell (Tom Cruise), an oil baron whose drilling on the ice shelf of Greenland causes the breaking of massive icebergs that threaten billions of lives worldwide. John Goodman plays the US president who tasks Rockwell to fix the crisis, that escalates into a global nuclear war.
The film looks incredible. Think Doctor Strangelove meets Birdman meets Don't Look Up meets The Death of Stalin. Already it looks like this year's One Battle After Another. The production design is surrealistic and hilarious and terrifying. Cruise is under heavy prosthetics but gives a performance reminiscent of Tropic Thunder. LFG.

Yuri Lowenthal is the only video game actor I’ve seen who has an actual spine and consistently uses his platform to raise awareness about the genocide and now the Iran war. I think that actors (who also play superheroes especially) and don’t use their platforms at all are cattle.
