Each time Alberta has established an Electoral Boundaries Commission to redraw election maps the government has accepted the commission’s majority report, so I was surprised and disappointed to learn that a committee of MLAs has instead been tasked with creating a new map. /1

The majority report, including the judge, are the ones calling for 91 seats and an adjustment of the boundaries. We know you have no interest in arriving at a map that will ensure effective representation under the Charter. You want to be able to lose the popular vote by 10 points and still win a majority. It is you that wants to rig the election - such a hypocrite.
