@ashens I came back onto twitter for the first time in over a month just to say 'fuck yeah!' to this stretch goal. I was going to back the film regardless, because - whenever possible - I'll always try and back cool stuff you do... but this is gravy. Really hope it happens mate! 🤞🏻

🌿 Winnipeg's longer growing season
Did you know the growing season in urban Winnipeg is over one month longer (on average) than surrounding rural areas? It is also by far the longest in Manitoba!
The longer growing season in the city was evident last night, with a low of only +4.8 C at The Forks vs +1.5 C at the Airport. Surrounding towns in more rural areas, like Woodlands and Dugald, dropped near 0 C.
The average growing season length at the Winnipeg Airport is 122 days. However, the average growing season is 157 days at The Forks.
Average last spring frost:
The Forks: May 6
Airport: May 23
Average first fall frost:
The Forks: October 10
Airport: September 22
The urban heat island of Winnipeg gives it by far the longest growing season in Manitoba. The closer you are to the core of the city, the longer the growing season. On the map below you can see how the growing season length varies throughout southern Manitoba.

@benpunter TQ at BBC Northants was possibly the funniest radio programme I ever had any involvement with - and that was back when I was doing traffic.
It’s so galling watching from afar as the dismantlement of BBCLR continues piece by piece :(
Hope you’re doing well mate!

TQ is a show that new people cut their teeth on: answering phones, learning the ropes etc. @the_questmaster is an excellent tutor for many new people starting in radio. Good Luck team for the final one.

Coming up from 10... the end of an era. After 15 years, the 732nd and final Treasure Quest. Can you help Sophie Little and Julie Reinger get one final win on their very last adventure...? bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0g…

If I see someone with their likes turned off I'll know they'll have shit tweets or shit opinions. There is no other reason to turn them off.
This is coming from someone who got a single like on a tweet I posted last night. I would like to thank @AdamCGlynn for his support.

Good news if you're still up at this hour and are over the age of 35. You can still watch Pages From Ceefax like the good ol' nights - youtube.com/watch?v=vYZs3Q…

What year would you guess the first colour photograph was printed in a North American newspaper?
The Manitoba Museum has 103 cameras in its collection, but one donated this year has a fascinating history! Learn more in this video with Dr. Roland Sawatzky: ow.ly/t0f750PFaWz

Don't know how I'd not spotted this before. From 1973 its Cathal O’Shannon on RTE's ‘Tangents’ series talking to Terry Wogan. Includes behind the scenes on Terry's Radio 2 breakfast show from 8 November 1973 rte.ie/archives/2017/…
