@CcfcOK1 Think the plan in 2011 was to move it to Old Trafford had Cardiff beaten Reading in the semi. Don’t think that would have made much difference though 😂

Watching the play-offs has got me thinking: if Cardiff and Swansea (somehow) got to the play-off final, do we reckon it would be moved to the Millennium Stadium? I simply can’t see how they’d manage to police it at Wembley.

@jordanmorcom Widdell?😂 What’s he done to be in the same category as Vipotnik? 0 goals and 1 assist all season, no idea what our fans see in him.

If we want to be ambitious as a football club we cannot keep carrying players like Cullen, Fulton and Ronald. Sam Parker definitely proved he’s got enough to be RB/RW now. Can’t lose Vipi or Widell this summer either

Been thinking about the Ospreys on the way home from Hull. Imperative Swansea has 1st class rugby especially after Glamorgan cricket shafted the city. We should support each other and if you can get to their games please go. And osprey fans you are welcome at the Swans games too

We are very disappointed with the decisions taken by the WRU on the future of professional rugby in our city. As sports fans in Swansea, it is for the benefit of us all to see all our teams succeed, and this decision does not further this goal. The city needs as many people as possible to call out the WRU and Y11 Sport and Media, and save professional rugby in Wales’ 2nd biggest city. There has long been discussion about the number of regions in Wales, but the WRU has chosen to go about this in the most cowardly way possible. The Ospreys are Wales’ most successful region and should not be culled by those adamant in rewarding failure. Swansea is the capital of Welsh sport, and has provided many of the stars of the Welsh rugby team, including our current captain. The decisions of the WRU should reflect that.

@lhanalysis_ A bit strange creating a thread of Vipotnik’s weaknesses when he’s scored 12 goals this season and we’d be in the relegation zone without him?

I Watched clips of Vipotnik 🇸🇮 before the start of this season and noted down some of the strengths & weaknesses. 📝 The highlighted points are still a weaknesses of his play. ❌ — Often taking a heavy touch into the defenders, resulting in a snap shot. — Planting both feet, getting ahead of the ball, meaning that he has to adjust his whole body, giving time for CB’s to recover. — Taking too long to steady himself, clip 1… takes 3 mini steps to strike the ball. Clip 2… 4 mini steps. When he could take one step and strike it. #Swans

An argument that does my head in is the Ospreys should be cut because Swansea is a 'football city'. We're the 2nd biggest city in Wales - we don't need to pick which sport to have. And plenty of us support both the Ospreys & the Swans - sometimes in the same weekend. 🦅🦢

Vitor Matos is everything id want in a swansea gaffer imo. wants to feel that connection within the club and city, loves english football, likes to be known as the underdog, praises 2 of arguably our best coaches Rodgers and Martin. seems a very swansea fit willing to back him

Seems unfair that one of the Ospreys or the Scarlets are to be closed down while the Dragons who have been by far the weakest link in Welsh rugby get to carry on as normal. Only in Wales would a team be rewarded for failure.
Alex Bywater@_AlexBywater

🚨 Breaking: WRU set to confirm plan to cut number of men's clubs from four to three with one of Ospreys or Scarlets at risk, but only from 2027 at the earliest. Current status quo to be maintained until then. Future plan - Dragons, Cardiff and one in the west. More @MailSport.

Copying the Scottish system which has brought 0 Six Nations titles, clubs who have won less than the current Welsh regions and a reliance on foreign-born players because they haven’t got the homegrown talent coming through. This move will finish Welsh rugby for good.
BBC Sport Wales@BBCSportWales

The Welsh Rugby Union insists cutting the number of professional clubs from four to two is the "radical step" needed to save the game in Wales. More to come ⬇️ #BBCRugby

Former Swansea boss Luke Williams is currently working at Bristol airport helping disabled and limited-mobility passengers @TheAthleticFC say he doesn’t need the job financially, but does it because he’d rather do something meaningful than sit at home. Fair play 👏👏
