Race 2 at Caulfield for Cable Dancer in just over 4 hours. Do think he’s a bit over priced as the ground was against him last time and I think 3rd up over 2400m should be ideal for him. Ground will be perfect and hopefully it isn’t a sit and sprint race as that wouldn’t suit. If he repeats the Ararat Cup win then I think he has a solid place chance

📊2026 Profit & Loss update @oddschecker 🏇Horse Racing: -8.32 ✍️It’s been a bit of a stop-start season for me so far, and I haven’t really managed to find my rhythm on the punting front. That said, it’s still early in the year, and with Cheltenham on the horizon, I’ll be aiming to build some momentum and get back into profit. It’s not a position I find myself in very often, but that’s where stake management becomes even more important. Staying disciplined now is key to climbing out of a small dip and setting things up for a strong run moving forward. ⛳️Golf: -27.19 ✍️ It’s not a position I’m used to being in with the golf. That said, off the back of two profitable weeks, we’re also now tied for the lead this week, which feels like a solid step back in the right direction. Over the past three seasons, we’re over 1200pts ahead, so a slower start this time around doesn’t concern me. It’s a long game, so staying patient and sticking to the staking plan remanis even more important right now. Next update coming in a few weeks as per usual.. 🤝

Following his mishap coming into the second bend last Saturday night in the Winter Derby @Monmoredogs we are delighted to announce that the injury isn’t as bad as first feared. We hope to see the big man back in 8-10 weeks but whether that includes a tilt at the English Derby is too early to say. Full details will be in tomorrow’s Racing Post @JimCreminRP article.
