You may have come across some conservatives who claim Scripture doesn't command government to care for the poor. Actually, the prophets harshly condemned political rulers for not caring for the poor. Here is Isaiah 10, which could have been said to Trump or Elon- Ah, you who make iniquitous decrees,    who write oppressive statutes, to turn aside the needy from justice    and to rob the poor of my people of their right, that widows may be your spoil,    and that you may make the orphans your prey! What will you do on the day of punishment,    in the calamity that will come from far away? To whom will you flee for help,    and where will you leave your wealth, so as not to crouch among the prisoners    or fall among the slain? For all this, his anger has not turned away;    his hand is stretched out still.

Madam President Trump Donald Trump signed an executive order that all people are the sex they belonged to at conception. Everyone starts in the womb as a female. By her executive order, Donald Trump's pronouns are now she|her. And she will be referred to as Madam President.

Bishop Budde has done us a huge service She has put before us what's at stake in Christianity during the Trump presidency. Jesus said in Matthew 9 & 12 that he desires mercy, not sacrifice. Bishop Budde called for mercy. Trump mocked her call for mercy. Christians have a choice - you can follow Christ or Trump. But you can't follow both.

Gay marriage is not a sin. Using bad interpretations of biblical laws to attack minority groups in order to gain power for yourself is pathetic. And it's a sin.

Jesus had a political agenda. He clearly defined it in Matthew 25:31-46. Jesus says that the nations will be judged by whether they -give food to the hungry -give water to the thirsty -welcome the stranger -clothe the naked -take care of the sick -visit people in prison Christians should be at the forefront of creating national policies consistent with Jesus' agenda for the nations. If we don't, Jesus warns that the United States will go away into eternal punishment.

Just remember that Jesus wept, too. -John 11:35

Trump wants total loyalty to him. But generals sing an oath to the Constitution, not the President. If Trump wants total loyalty, he should move and try to become President of another country. If anyone wants a president who has total loyalty from generals and others, they should move to another country. Because that's not how we roll in the United States.

Just a reminder that Hitler was a bad guy. Hitler and his generals killed 6 million Jews and millions of others. Trump wants his generals to be like Hitler's generals. Those are his own words. No one who talks about Hitler in positive terms should be President of the US.

Why Donald Trump Is an “Illegal” Have you heard people say that undocumented immigrants are illegal because they just needed to break one law? What about people who illegally hire undocumented immigrants You know. Like Donald Trump. Trump hired undocumented immigrants to work at his golf courses and hotels. It is illegal to hire undocumented immigrants. So why aren't we calling Trump an "illegal"? Is it because undocumented immigrants are more vulnerable and easy to scapegoat? Yep.

Why are Christians who endorse hate flourishing? Because the stopped following Jesus. The follow satan. Let me explain. The word satan in Hebrew means accuser. At the beginning of Jesus' ministry, he went into the desert to be tempted by satan. Satan offered Jesus all the power of the world if he would worship satan. Jesus knew that worshiping satan would mean becoming like satan, which would mean gaining power through accusing others, especially the vulnerable. So Jesus rejected satan because he knew God called him to love. Unfortunately, many Christians have stopped following Jesus and have sold out to satan. Take undocumented immigrants, for example. Trump has channeled hatred against undocumented immigrants by accusing them of committing crimes. But we know from study after study that undocumented immigrants committ far fewer crimes than native born Americans. We see this in JD Vance who knowingly propogated a lie that Haitian immigrants are eating cants and dogs. That is when you know that these Christian politicians have stopped following Christ and have sold out to the ways of satan. We need to know this stark reality because we need to know that these Christians who lie about undocumented immigrants have rejected the way of Christ. But please do not lose faith. We need you to rise up with the faith that love will win. That the way of Christ is the way of human flourishing. So please. Don't let the haters get you down. Keep the faith.

Why Does the NIV Use the Word ”Homosexual”? The NIV is based on the NRSV, which is known as the most accurate version of the Bible. So many translations follow the NRSV. In 1946, the the translators of the NRSV used tne word "homosexual." Years later the said, "Oops! That was a big mistake because the Bible isn't talking about homosexuality." So they took out the word homosexual and used other words. Unfortunately, the NIV decided to keep the word homosexual because the translators are still living in the 1940s. Check out the documentary @1946themovie. I highly recommend the NRSV and not getting stuck in the 1940s. Also, I hat numbers. Can't keep them organized in my brain. It was actually in 1946, not 1947. 🤷‍♂️ ❤️🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️

Trump supporters are now attacking joy. This is weird. They are even starting to say that joy might make you a Nazi. This is bizarre. I hope you have a joyful day!
