This is a freaking disgrace and needs to be called out! After reading Rule 5.09(a)(1), I do not believe TJ Friedl caught this ball. If a player drops the ball upon falling, it is not a catch. What's worse, he would have known he dropped it, yet chose not to make that clear...

@Aliathewhite Rock in the 90s introduced themes of self deprecating/self loathing loser mentality. Rock was empowering b4 then mostly about having fun, getting girls etc. It shifted with grunge/alternative rock and became “I’m a loser” “I’m a creep” “I hate myself”. The entire psyche changed

The '90s marked the end of White dominance in popular music. They replaced us with barely intelligible black rappers engineered to drag society straight into the intellectual gutter.

@fedsurrection @Aliathewhite @martianwyrdlord Nirvana kicked off the decline. Fuckin depressing song after depressing song, no wonder the shift to pop acts in the late 90s to counteract this which led to the shitty landscape we are in today music-wise. I don't know if there is a more overrated act since 1990.

@WillNick842 @RealTimers @GovChristie @billmaher @cafreeland Exactly! There's no amount of truth telling this SOB can do now to make up for how he villainized NJ public workers and destroyed their livelihoods so badly they still haven't recovered. Fat bag of monkey shit lied about damn near everything for decades and NOW he's Mr. Truth?

@RealTimers @GovChristie @billmaher @cafreeland Chris Christie was a failed NJ governor who screwed over public workers and left office with a historically low approval rating. He’s reinvented himself as “Republican politician who hates Trump” and gets to be on TV twice a week now.

@Jimfrombaseball Joe went way down in my estimation when I read he refused an autograph for a kid at Rao's. Stated he gets paid for autographs. They had reserved his seat and comped his meals for years. Rao's then barred him.

At the age of 74, Joe DiMaggio was sitting with the American League President and ex-teammate Dr. Bobby Brown at Candlestick Park when the 1989 San Francisco earthquake hit. Joe DiMaggio was next spotted seeking aid at a Red Cross shelter, holding garbage bags in his hands. "My home has been pretty badly damaged,” DiMaggio said, "and right now they won`t let me back in. They won't allow it.” Richard Cramer wrote in his book, "Joe DiMaggio: The Hero's Life", that the garbage bags DiMaggio was holding were full of about $600,000 in cash from memorabilia signings. The 'Yankee Clipper' was known for trusting people less and less as he got older, and it seemed to be another sign he was looking out for himself. Joe DiMaggio was held captive for five months by his lawyer, Morris Engelberg, while he died in the hospital. Engelberg had the legendary ball player's 1936 World Series ring pried from his finger moments after he passed away. Engelberg built a trust with DiMaggio by making him more money than all of his previous business partners. However, the deceptive lawyer was hoping to take much more without DiMaggio ever knowing. Engelberg stashed hundreds of thousands of dollars' worth of DiMaggio's memorabilia, like lithographs, balls, and canceled checks, without DiMaggio's knowledge, hoping to sell them and pocket the profits.

@kurtsiegelin $10Billion in funded research a year for B10 Academic Alliance members. Not really something to sneeze at on the academic side of conference membership. @RUAthletics needs to figure it out but for now possibly getting our name on a cancer cure might be worth the beatings.

@5_Slice_Rick @On3Richie @3xOptionShow @RutgersOn3 Except you don't even know that because Cuban's donations are undisclosed but admitted by all to be "significant" and he already reloaded for next season. Cignetti did a miraculous job but he did it with a resource few will have. At least until Cuban shows others how he profited.

"In my opinion, the greatest game ever pitched was between the San Francisco Giants and Milwaukee Braves on July 2, 1963. Forty-two-year-old Warren Spahn and 25-year-old Juan Marichal each went 16 innings and the game ended 1-0 on a home run by Willie Mays. Each pitcher threw over 200 pitches. Spahn threw 201 and Marichal 227. There were seven future Hall of Fame players in that game, including Spahn and Marichal. We will never see that again because the game won’t allow it. But both guys were prepared to go as long as it took. And this game was not a fluke; both pitchers won 20 games that season. For Spahn, it was his 13th 20-win season and for Marichal, it was his first of 6. My highest pitch count was 232 in a game against the Red Sox in 1974. I pitched 12 innings, struck out 19, walked 10, and had a no decision. My counter-part, Luis Tiant threw 180 pitches in 14 1/3 innings and took the loss 4-3. We were on a 4-man rotation and pitched on 3 day’s rest. I had 26 complete games in 1973 and 1974 and didn’t even lead the league. Gaylord Perry had 29 in 1973 and Ferguson Jenkins had 29 in 1974."
