Would it be possible to build a streaming platform where the users could invest and buy rights to movies or to create movies and then they would have access to those movies forever and get a return on their investment? Then to watch other movies you would pay for a service. But potentially if you invested in really good movies it could pay for your streaming forever.

He did join the class list but never joined the Methodist faith. We can assume that was his intention but assumptions are only that. Assumptions. It also only lasted for a short time because he obviously wasn’t willing to give up his beliefs. In addition if this was disobeying a direct commandment from God, it wasn’t the first time and probably not the last. Though it seems he got on the right path pretty quick.

@AdamHendrickso3 Plenty of Mormon prophets put everything on the First Vision (versions 2,1.4 and 5). Smith trying to become a Methodist means either the First Vision never happened or he directly disobeyed an explicit instruction from God. The former makes more sense.
