I think I'll end up getting the Galaxy Z Fold8 instead of the Fold8 Ultra. Yes, some of the changes are intriguing, but it's just more interesting to talk about the wider form factor of the Fold8. Besides, I don't think Samsung will make an entirely new multitasking solution on One UI 9 that makes it much more helpful to run multiple apps at the same time (like OPPO's Boundless View or vivo's Origin Workbench). It's just more practical to buy a phone with an "entirely new" shape rather than buying something even better but iterative.

Now that it is just a month before the Pixel 11 launch, I am revisiting the Pixel 10 Pro XL. Honestly, I just want them to improve one thing: the camera performance. Even though it can mostly take good photos, the video performance is not that good by a high-end standard. Too bad, cause almost every part of this phone is good, including that still nice-looking design.

@AdamJMatlock Not a fair comparison at all really. Yes Steam is digital, but it’s the far superior platform compared to what a Sony-run digital-only platform would be. This thing is also Linux-based so it’s still not as locked down as a PS console. People will tinker with it as they please.

I don’t get this at all. Sony = no discs. Screw Sony. Steam Machine = no discs. I’ll gladly pay more! 🤔

@AdamJMatlock I would install Windows on a separate SSD and use the disc drive to play physical games I find for almost free.

@AdamJMatlock @oliverhenry That’s because they get their syrup in stainless steel containers, chill both the syrup and carbonated water lines, and have a slightly more syrup to water ratio to make it so it doesn’t taste watered down as the ice melts.

I realise now that why Americans scoff when I say original Coca-Cola is my favourite drink The whole time I’ve been here I thought the coke just wasn’t the same. But I got told “Mexican coke” is great. So I got some Mexican coke and it tastes just like home. Turns out the corn syrup the US coke uses completely ruins the taste. Very happy to have some proper coke 👍
