Something I noticed during the Knicks championship run -- the algorithm can be coaxed and improved. For 4-5 glorious weeks, Knicks tweets were taking up 80%+ of my feed. In the last couple of weeks, it's been majority World Cup and now the Odyssey (which can be good and bad). Having to be overwhelmed with the hellscape part of this platform is a choice.

I saw quite a few police officers during a Swedish trip for my daughter's soccer tournament. They looked predominantly young, alert, and in shape. Their English was also as good as mine. Here I am with some fellow cops.

Just finished up a trip in Gothenburg, Sweden with 13 for her soccer tournament & had a fine time. No one could tell I was an American, so I used this cover to move undetected among the Swedes, taking notes on their customs and culture.

I use Twitter and a couple other platforms. Sometimes one of my teenage daughters will see a post I wrote and respond with something like "I’m ngl what even is this" and that's when I'm reminded I still have a ways to go in connecting with today's youth.

You guys completely missed the point. Clavicular’s controversial past is exactly WHY this mattered. The nightclub incident—the company he has kept— it makes it even more impactful to his massive following of misinformed teenagers that he chose to come and see Israel for himself. I don’t make the rules. Like it or not, this is who the kids are listening to. That’s just how it is. It’s a fact. And we fumbled big time because once again we couldn’t get out of our own way. What a colossal missed opportunity.

My wife & I recently celebrated our 18-year wedding anniversary. We joke we were exclusively dating within 5 minutes of meeting.
In 2008, I quit my job as a Milwaukee cop & drove 2,000 miles to the SF bay area to be with her.
Best decision in the history of decisions.

@AdamPlantinga Happy anniversary. We just celebrated our 50th in March. He was my Sgt on the PD In Florida. I moved to Wisconsin with him in 1978 so he could be back in his hometown. Retired as Chief. Hope you all have many more years of celebrations.
