The pitch was 4G for a start - none of those players put a full 100% in and I’m glad they didn’t as that’s how you end up with injuries on that surface. Secondly we had 4 trialists in a weak midfield against a confident promotion side

@Lukewalshpod Minutes in legs is the main goal of pre season, but conceding 4 to a team at avros level is hardly a good look mate. Not a good look either than we've conceeded 15 goals in 4 games so far. Ultimately only friendlies though and the first few league games will be far more important

@mthomps_ @AdamPro_Actor @FCHTOnline Don't disagree with that. And I'm on same page with DB. Just felt today's game was neither here or there. The lines ups, the players not even in squad . Avro are a team on the up and at a good competitive level. We were excellent against chesterfield with a first 11 for 60mins.
