Part of being the manager of Liverpool Football Club is also the connection with the fans. What has Slot done to build a connection with the fans? Klopp did more for Slot’s connection with the fans with the Arne Slot chant than Slot has done for himself with the fans… especially in times of difficulty.

Do I think a 2% ticket tax is “pricing people out” of coming to games? Not really… Do I think the folks of Columbus WANT an NWSL team? Yes, without a shadow of a doubt. Do I think the VERY wealthy OWNERSHIP are the ones responsible for footing the funding instead of immediately placing any form of financial implications on us, the supporters, to essentially fund the prospective team? Yes.

I do NOT get the clamor of tearing down nations like Curaçao, Cape Verde, Uzbekistan and Jordan who are making their first WC appearances to justify Italy’s inclusion in the World Cup. You’re living in the past if you think this Italian team deserves to be in the World Cup… there’s a reason it’s been 12 years since their last appearance - 2020 was a full cycle ago now as well… They are simply NOT a great team. They have solid individual players for club, but as a team they look out of their depth. Look at the teams that beat them to qualify... Watch their games… They simply do not deserve to be at the World Cup.

Quite possibly the absolute antithesis of competition. This isn’t a hot take… it’s pushing for everything the Super League was, but in terms of international football. It goes against every fiber of sport to put teams in an international competition based on “merit alone.”

Look I’m no doctor or physio, but can Frimpong just call it a season and get the surgery he clearly needs for his hamstring already? Why is he continuing to do damage to a hamstring that clearly never properly healed and needs attention? Why is he being cleared to play?

Tbf he makes a great save off the line, but he needs to be collecting that, not at the near post letting any one of their many 6’2+ players get their head to it.

You can completely disagree with Carra’s opinions and statements on Salah while not slagging off his career. Do I think he’s close to Salah in terms of lasting impact to Liverpool and the PL? No. Do I think he was an overrated or otherwise mediocre player for the club? No. He’s absolutely still a Liverpool and PL legend.

@rudkin_abigail I think it’s because his voice is so loud and many believe he represents the opinions of Liverpool as a whole. I personally don’t like the sentiment he puts out there regarding Salah, but it’s also not worth my emotional investment either. I see it, speak out, and try to move on.

We all love Salah. But this relentless attack on Carragher for having his own opinion on top 10 is ridiculous. Everyone has the right to their opinion and opinions change. It’s very very odd the way people are behaving about the whole thing.

It’s also not like he isn’t going to the league… you make those mistakes in the league even as an important piece organizations look at you different and are less willing to take chances on you. Use it as a learning opportunity.

This may sound extremely snooty and apathetic, but am I the only one that doesn’t really feel bad at all for him or any of his teammates with media, especially in the NIL era? Yeah they’re kids, but they’re kids getting paid millions as it’s a profession - treat them as such.
