@MooreintheAM If speed cameras actually slowed drivers down, and stopped speeding, they wouldn’t generate any revenue. The fact that municipalities (especially @cityoftoronto ) rely on speed cameras to cover their budget shortfalls reveals that they are just a cash grab. Thank you @fordnation

@NEWSTALK1010 @MooreintheAM @CANURB I remember going into a church in the Annex years ago. Beautiful, built in the 19th century but obviously in such disrepair from neglect. Now it's in the process of condo conversion. St. Andrew's at Simcoe and King is saved because the parish sold the air rights.

Here is a church and here is a steeple. Should the city turn these into housing for the people? @MooreintheAM discusses a new report from @CANURB that says houses of worship should be preserved, even at taxpayer expense, as they serve communities in many ways.
