Hello everyone, I have been informed that someone has feeding my art into AI to use it as stickers using a telegram bot. So Since this day to the future I will put a watermark on them to avoid this type of situation. I want to say that I DO NOT give permision to use my art to feed AI and get profit of it, and whoever who does this is an awful person. Now I spoke with the creator of this bot and I will show the conversation we had, Please I beg you DO NOT GO AND HARASS THEM, That's not the way, just, block them and spread the word, any kind of harassment will not be tolerated in any means, just please be aware of what's been happening.

dude. is not to stop it, I know people like this will do it, the watermark is for people to know that I made the drawing and its not an AI version of it, I dont care if they are poor, I am also having financial troubles and Im not profiting with other artists drawings. one thing is use AI to joke ragebait, reference maybe and even joking around, but when it comes with money is not fair, the watermark is just a way to certify I made it, nothing more.

@AdamTheFool_ @Fall_dR34ms I did. You just assume they make money, you have no realistic way of knowing their financial situation right? You miss the main point of.. You cannot stop this from happening. The watermark only makes your images shittier to any potential viewer/buyer....

@GildedPardus okay, you don't know what you are talking about, but sure, whatever you say, if you think is not that serious its fine, but for me it its, and is my business, I don't want trouble with nobody, I just want to survive doing what I love.

@AdamTheFool_ I do, but you apparently do not. This is a legally protected act, upheld by the court of law multiple times. You are only calling it theft to moralize. You do not own an aesthetic and the act of GenAI is transformative by nature. If you thought it was theft you would sue.

@AstaRawwr @AdamTheFool_ It isn’t 'free promotion' if it completely cuts the artist. Generating an AI knock-off of someone's style doesn't bring them clients it just allows people to copy their hard work without permission or compensation. Visibility doesn't pay bills +

you really didn't read the post do you? they are profiting with it, what I'm trying to do with the watermark is to certified my clients that I MADE IT, if they just do tha AI stuff for ragebait or to experiment I really don't mind, but they are taking all my effort and selling it like it was theirs.

@Fall_dR34ms @AdamTheFool_ I'll forgive your spelling mistakes, that's fine. You're missing the point - there is no stopping it. So crying and whining instead of using it as free promotion is the wrong move. Example "My art so good people ripping it off with AI 😹" - then post link to your commissions

when someone takes what you are building with a lot of effort and just feed it into AI it is a big deal, it is my only income and again, everything I work for they just take it without permission and they profit with it. For me it wouldn't be a really big deal if they don't actually get money doing this, but is not that simple.

@AdamTheFool_ It's quite literally not theft by any definition of the word. If it was theft you would sue them. You can't sue them because it's transformative, and you know it. You pretend it's theft because you want to moralize and protect your profit margins from competition.

@WrasslingOlean Really don't know, this guy is the owner of the Bot so, he is giving access to people to literally do stickers in any style they want, and even gaining profit for it, just watch out because Im sure this bot is not the only one

Hello, For those wondering why I haven't been posting much about my artwork or updated my comic, I want to clarify some things. While my job as an artist is my top priority, there is too much pressure coming out from various situations that are directly damaging my health, yesterday I was in the hospital all day. Not to go into specifics, but my current work flow has taken a toll on my physical health because of the strain I've been putting myself into fulfilling all of my drawings while also working on my personal life. I do take a day off every once in a while, yes, but I don't feel like I'm ever really taking a rest. Which is why I will be taking a short break from my commissions, around a week or so, for me to have a full rest, let my body recover, and come back even stronger with even more determination. I promise you all it is my full intention to finish every commission I currently have, but I don't want to end up in the hospital, again. You guys are my everything, my purpose, and I want to keep working with you all. Please allow me to have a small break to get back in full form so I can complete my work without breaking down.

This is *the most* depressing thing I've ever seen be done to a creator. Yall have genuinely sucked the joy out of this thing from someone who just wanted to make a silly serious cartoon for people to enjoy.

(TW: VENT AND PERSONAL ISSUES) Hello everyone, I just want to say to you all that my pc is doing okay for now but I have something I have to say. I was not sure about make this public since revealing too much of my personal life on the internet scares me, but I know people are waiting for me to finish all the commissions that I have in queue, and I will. If you are still waiting for a commission please I would like to apologize. The thing is that I am dealing with I think it is the worst depression of my life. Months ago one of the people that I loved most passed away And I am not being able to heal at all. I also I am having trouble with myself, how I look, how I talk, I am not doing anything more than sit on my desk and try to finish all the commissions that I have left even if it's slow. I haven't go outside a lot since people scares me and I feel ashamed of who I am. Now I don't like playing this card because it's not something I feel I should shout it to everyone but, I have Asperger's Syndrome (if you don't know what that is, google it, but, it is basically Autism but in not a heavy way. It's more than that, so if you can google it, please do) so that makes me handle all of my feelings a lot harder and I can't focus the way I wish for, add to that I am not eating a lot sometimes and not sleeping good, knowing also that I am not in a good shape im terms of money. I know people count on me and friends are trying to help me, you all are too nice and I thank you for it. So what's gonna happen? I closed all my commissions for a long time, even if that affects me really bad in my economy, I have a lot of anxiety to know that people are waiting for something they fairly paid for. The only thing I could ask if I have the right to ask, is to support me when I do adopts or with patreon since I am really struggling with my economy, I know I don't have much to offer but I beg you all to believe me that I am trying my best to keep it together and Give all of the people that are waiting for me something to enjoy. Sorry if this was too long but, the situation had me really worried thinking that people think Im a scammer or someone who doesn't care, I DO care, a lot.
