Album tatu na hakuna ata hit song moja?. Industry inatumia jina lake kama chombo cha data farming badala ya musical curation.

For the past 2-3 years, I have carried deep anger toward the UAE. I hated them with all my soul and wished every bad thing upon them because of their support for Samia Suluhu and her devilish, murderous son, Abdul. They even granted Abdul UAE citizenship and provide him with 24/7 security, protecting him while he continues to help steal our nation’s resources and hand over Tanzania’s assets like the country’s main port in Dar es Salaam and our national resources to the UAE.
Even after Samia Suluhu murdered more than 10,000 Tanzanians a few months ago, the UAE continues to support her. In fact, it was the first country she felt safe enough to travel to after massacring her own people to steal the presidency.
But man… over the last few days, my heart has been aching for the UAE, and especially for Dubai. Maybe it’s because some of the most memorable chapters of my life happened there. I got my first high-paying job in Dubai when I was just 26, hired by Dubai World (Limitless). I met my first husband there. My son, Kenzo, was born in Dubai at the American Hospital. I lived an incredible life in that city for five years. Seeing it under attack makes me deeply sad.
I didn’t even realize I still had a soft spot for the UAE until I saw it hurting.
I truly hope Dubai comes back stronger than ever. At the same time, I hope its leadership reflects and stops supporting brutal regimes in Africa, like the one in Tanzania. Someone told me maybe this is karma for them, but man… Dubai doesn’t deserve this. The five years I lived there were some of the most amazing years of my life. I lived in Jumeirah Beach, with a live-in maid and a full-time driver, those were unforgettable days. If it weren’t for starting a family and believing the United States was a better place to raise our children, I probably would still be living in Dubai today.
Even my son feels it. He was so sad that he pulled out his Dubai birth certificate and took it to school to show his friends.
I’m praying for them, and I hope they rise again stronger than ever.
Long live Dubai. 🙏
