@Adam_MGC Hi, looks great. Do you compress the clippings in the bucket or leave them fluffed? As the two would give very different readings? 👍

Vitally important to complete this exercise when mowing greens. Knowing the volume of clippings collected helps to plan operations and inputs required to aid surface performance.

Didn’t get enough rain…?? It’s true - a few days of the nice weather and everyone’s spirit is lifted!! However, a few localized dry areas and turf repairs require a little moisture to help aid recovery. This IBC is the ideal unit to water our Old Course during periods of need.

@DanielL03655461 Hi, We collect this data from 2 greens every mowing operation. The same greens each time It’s allows us to determine when feed apps are needed depending on amount collected. Our target, determined when the greens performed their best. Collecting this data for a few years now

@Adam_MGC Could you share your total process here? How long have you been collecting clippings? What has this data compelled you to do or how has it altered your plans?

Our Old Course tees undergoing some preseason reshaping. We have adjusted each tee, restoring the desired square tee design feature.

Cherington course renovations update… Days 2, 3, 4 & 5 Unfortunately the weather has won this battle and continued rainfall has prevented us to continue our works. Now to start planning when we can recommence.

Winter projects are almost all complete now…the team have done a great job in, at times the worst conditions possible. We have been committed to improve our steps on various tees. A great improvement and a project to be proud of.
