Councils shouldn’t be asking government for more money without reining in their spending … and they can start by cutting their ballooning equality, diversity and inclusion budgets.

When people look shocked at my recently discovered admiration for @Nigel_Farage I will show them this.
No politician or broadcaster is doing more to alert people to the dystopian nightmare coming over the horizon.
I've realised that many lack the imagination to know where this could go.
When you hear #blair it all sounds so cosy and 'safe'..... It's not.
Kiss goodbye to your health choices / financial freedom forever.

@Dominiquetaegon Anything I can get you Sam? Juice? Coffee? RACK OF LAMB?

@mvankerkhove If masking works then you only need to wear one yourself. What does it matter if everybody else doesn’t wear one. Does that nullify yours?

@BaileysOfficial I have a bottle of red velvet cupcake which has a date stamped on it of July 2021 on both the side and underneath. Could you tell me if this is still safe to drink? And if so is that the best before? Or bottled date?

@MaajidNawaz Since when was ‘getting excited’ an issue? I can think of many things that excite but don’t cause heart problems. Quite the opposite infect. Maybe Christmas gifts will excite to the point of death this year.

@virginmedia They told me to leave the engineer appointment in case there is something wrong my end but also confirmed there are works going on and eta is now 11th. Gone from Friday the 7th to the 10th now the 11th. It’s not good enough.
English

@Adamdh39 Apologies Adam, I would recommend calling our technical support team so they can clarify the issue and arrange an engineer visit if one is required ^DC

@virginmedia And the 151 number tells me it’s a complex issue again.
English

@Adamdh39 Thanks for the reply Adam, just to confirm when you checked our status page did it advise there is a complex fault? ^DC
English

@virginmedia I can’t remember exactly what is said but it was about a fault in the are. Then Sunday it showed as I need an engineer.
English

@virginmedia Is it upgrades or complex issue? Or both? Virgin helpline keeps moving the goalpost on completion time. And when I first checked there was no issue my end. It today ther apparently is?
English

@Adamdh39 Hi Adam, apologies for the loss of service. Is the fault and estimated fix time displayed on our service status page? virg.in/servicechecker ^DC
English

@virginmedia First phone call I’m told there are upgrades being done and it should be back Friday night. Then it was off all weekend. Today it says fixed by 4pm. Once 4pm came the message changed to a complex issue again.
English

@virginmedia No. That told me I need an engineer to come out after advising it is an issue within my postcode area. I have left the booking for engineer just in case but customer service tell me it’s virgin issue.

@JulianStorey @davidkurten Didn’t stop a woman I know who had both doses and booster then died in hospital. Yet another of my friends had no jabs and saw off Covid very easily.
English

@davidkurten Refusing to wear a 'face nappy' is entirely sensible. There is little to no scientific evidence that they do anything to reduce transmission.
However, there is significant evidence that receiving the COVID vaccine will prevent you from becoming seriously ill if you catch COVID.
