A really good start to #WTOMC14 with a great Opening thanks to the Government of the Republic of Cameroon and H.E. Prime Minister Joseph Dion Ngute. Full of color with a good representation not only of the different regions of Cameroon but of the world. It reminded us that cooperation can deliver more for the peoples of WTO Members than isolation or fragmentation. In this regard, the room lit up with excitement when H.E. Ömer Bolat @omerbolatTR, Minister of Trade of Türkiye, announced that Türkiye would no longer oppose the incorporation of IFD into the WTO rulebook. Discussing progress on Ethiopia’s Accession with HE Dr. Kassahun Gofe Balami, Minister of Trade and Chief Negotiator for Ethiopia and his delegation, including State Minister and Deputy Chief Negotiator HE Hadera Abera Admassu. Ethiopia is making good progress, happy to see that MC14 will enable you to advance the work even faster. Look forward to a successful completion of this process in the near future.

A wonderful meeting with the Jamaican delegation led by MC14 Vice Chair and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade HE Senator Kamina Johnson Smith and including HE Amb Dr. Richard Brown. Many thanks to Her Excellency the Minister for accepting the task of facilitating the discussions on the e-commerce moratorium.

HMO that we treated a patient as a case of emergency When it was time for them to pay the bills They said they didn't ask us to give those medications so they won't pay for them.

@strongmoiety_1 @king_pearxe Pharmacies will dispense generic medications and not cheap ones sir. I have people on routine medications that have all their supplies covered every month. The key thing here is to engage the HMO you subscribed to sort these issues easily.

We were doing wound dressing for a woman. I told her, Madam, you have to bring out money let us buy you some good antibiotics among the rest so that your wound will heal in no time. She insisted we use the one provided and approved by her HMO Guess what happened to the wound the next week?

@sanusi_farouq @king_pearxe If the Client service manager is not visiting the hospital, you will surely face these kinds of challenges, let the HMO in question come and discuss with the NHIA officer in the hospital to resolve issues. It works sir.

@steveinferno @king_pearxe It is doable, please just ensure you talk to your medical manager on how to sort out the difference to cover the medications.
