The Cardinal baseball team defeated Clarksburg 9-1 today. Owen Teague and Isaac Howard both had 2 hits in the win. Howard hit a double. Howard was also on the mound, striking out 8 in 4 innings of work. Kaleb Fesmire struck out 2 in 1 inning.

The Cardinal baseball team defeated Haywood County 15-0 today. Isaac Howard and Maguire Luna both had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 4 RBI each. They each had a double, and Howard hit a triple. Eli Ashe pitched 4 innings, striking out 9 while only giving up 1 walk.

The Lady Cardinals lost 13-2 in their second matchup of the day against Dyer County. Baylee Brown was 2-for-3 in the game. Sophie Edwards and Lillie Ward both saw time on the mound.
