You can’t ever underestimate the appeal of football. An 80 year age gap but for 90 mins these three have revelled in each other’s company. Apologies if you were one of the 20 ppl Grandad stopped on the walk home to introduce his “Bouncers!” #pvfc

@BenEFL_pvfc There’s so much still to happen before the window closes on 1st Sept. Teams start badly & panic, it creates domino effects. The Premiership lot are barely back in training. My knowledge ain’t good enough to pick specifics but there will be strong options on offer.

Realistically what else happens in this window… I can only see Stockley/richards/marosi leaving and possibly a winger on loan #pvfc

@AidPVFC @BenEFL_pvfc Nothing at all Aid. Just got those vibes. Don’t think the budget is exhausted yet but JB might be holding a contingency for January? Moore spent his way out of the division, I suspect Brady wants to manage his way out of it #pvfc

@BTGPVFC They’ve been the “Disney” formula before it existed but people aren’t buying it. Genuinely don’t know what the business plan is?

@AddBrown Massive sponsorship deals behind them. If they can get bums on seats they can build a fanbase and improve the stadium etc. Stevenage were pushing championship last year with less away fans than that

These clearly aim to buy the league. That way, you become every sides Cup Final and with maximum 500 fans turning up away from home it can quickly go pearshaped. Manager potentially a strange appointment too? Would have been way better giving Robinson the cash?

@BenWill76952707 @PVFC2022 STs are the biggest revenue generator for the club. They receive comparatively nothing from away fixtures. They have to over incentivise the purchase of home tickets.

@PVFC2022 Then it should be done the way liverpool do it, for away games its based on how many aways you went or something similar. I go to any away game I can whenever I can, but cant this season because we will be winning games and season ticket holders will bother going

This just sucks for people who dont live in stoke. Plus i work weekends 😂 crazy that a season ticket holder cant buy an extra ticket #pvfc its gonna be the same for the york game 😭 the one game i can walk to the ground ill be in the home end
Port Vale FC@OfficialPVFC

@JJLozzer You would have to wait for the lowest amount of loyalty points to get all of the tickets together. Your points are eligible only for your ticket.

@_lknighty We’ve made them that way Leon. Privilege. I’ve got two sound adult lads but refer to them as “The Tories”. Branded everything clothes-wise. Chicken breasts and protein on tap. Gym and phones paid for. You wouldn’t have it any other way really.

🤐 We kept you waiting for far too long... Karl Agnero's OUTRAGEOUS bicycle kick against Watford on Tuesday 👏 Has to be in the nominations at the end of the season, even if it was just pre-season, surely?! #PVFCAcademy

Did a wonderful job with the Sunderland game. Body language and speed of decision making alone eclipsed anything we get down the Vale ordinarily. He’s a loss to football in my eyes.
@markklfc

Mike Dean on Anthony Taylor’s retirement from refereeing after being asked by a reporter. 🎙️ Reporter: “Mike, Anthony Taylor has announced his retirement. Looking back on his career, how will football remember him?” Mike Dean: “Football fans have short memories. They remember one decision and forget the thousands of others. Anthony Taylor has spent more than two decades putting himself in the firing line every single weekend while millions of people sitting on sofas think they could do the job better.” “Whether you loved him or hated him, every club he officiated will remember Anthony Taylor. Some fans still celebrate decisions he made. Others are still furious about them years later. That’s what happens when you’re trusted with the biggest matches in world football.” “Managers screamed in his face. Players surrounded him every weekend trying to influence him. Supporters abused him for ninety minutes and then questioned his integrity the moment they lost. Yet every single week he walked back onto that pitch and accepted the pressure all over again. Most of the people criticizing him wouldn’t last five minutes carrying that responsibility.” “People act as if referees wake up wanting to decide football matches. That’s nonsense. Anthony Taylor never stepped onto a pitch trying to become the story. He stepped onto it to do one of the hardest jobs in football while knowing one split-second decision could make millions of people turn against him.” “When he retires, football doesn’t just lose a referee it loses someone who carried the weight of the game on his shoulders for more than twenty years. You don’t survive at the highest level for that long if you’re weak. You survive because you have the mentality to keep going when the entire football world is shouting at you.” “Yes, there were controversial decisions. Show me a referee who never made one. They don’t exist. That’s football. The difference is that Anthony Taylor had the courage to keep making those decisions under unbelievable pressure while everyone else judged them with the benefit of slow-motion replays.” “Now everyone suddenly wants to show respect because he’s retiring. Where was that respect when he was being abused every single weekend? It’s easy to applaud someone when they’re walking away. The real test is respecting them while they’re doing the job.” “Anthony Taylor leaves behind controversy, unforgettable moments, endless debates and a career that will always divide opinion. But nobody can question his commitment, his courage or his resilience. Love him or hate him, football will never forget Anthony Taylor.”

Love Jayden & everything he’s done on & off the pitch. Being ruthless, he took the option; the club would have released to rebuild. Wages likely significant. We’ve moaned about being too sentimental. Brady wants the budget for something else? #pvfc

@AddBrown @NathanShapland_ @Tom_Amos @FrankLaTank1876 True. Success makes players hungrier but these clubs seem to want to see what players are made of and want to push them up a level. Maybe cover more in wages the higher they go up. The Stoke Lowe thing was ridiculous for the player

@Tom_Amos @CeCeShakes21 @NathanShapland_ @FrankLaTank1876 Can’t see Mo being recalled. He didn’t cut it in L1, if he’s having a good season they’ll leave him to preserve value. Lynch could be different. If he smashes his way round L2, they might fancy letting him have minutes with them? If’s, buts and maybes.
