A cabinet Minister told me that between 2018 and 2020, the Forestry Commission issued over 100 permits for companies to enter Ghana's forest reserves. Today, I successfully launched the MP's Mobile Relief Caravan. We have developed an effective distribution system to ensure that all 19 camps for displaced persons in my beloved constituency regularly receive much needed relief items without bottlenecks. The MP's office has secured a relief package comprising bags of rice, maize, sugar, cooking oil, canned fish, mosquito nets, detergents, tissues, mosquito repellents, sanitary towels, life jackets and tissues for onward distribution to all camps. The Works and Housing Minister, Francis Asenso Boakye, says the government will sell the failed Saglemi Affordable Housing Project to a private developer, who will complete and sell them. The government will then invest the funds in another affordable housing project.
