The most dangerous thing Palantir sells is not AI. It is dependency. That is the real product. Not analytics. Dependency. That is why this company matters so much under Trump. Once Palantir gets inside a state system, it does not merely provide software. It starts becoming the layer through which that institution sees, sorts, prioritizes, and acts. Over time, the public institution stops owning the logic. It stops owning the tooling. It stops owning the operational memory. It just keeps paying to access the machine. Look at the pattern ffs: The U.S. Army consolidated 75 contracts into 1 enterprise agreement with Palantir for future software and data needs. DHS opened a $1 billion blanket purchase agreement so agencies like ICE, CBP, TSA, FEMA, and Secret Service can buy Palantir faster and with less friction. That is the state reorganizing itself around a private stack. And once that stack is in place, the dependency deepens. In Britain, MPs warned that after more than £330 million, the NHS does not even own the software, the IP, or the know how created around the Federated Data Platform. The supplier keeps the rights. The public pays. The contractor learns. The state rents back operational capability from the company that embedded itself first. ....managed dependence! Now place that next to Trump world. J.D. Vance is not some detached observer. Peter Thiel hired him into Mithril, backed his rise, and put $15 million behind the effort that helped carry him through the Ohio Senate primary. Thiel is still Palantir’s chairman. So no, this is not a random overlap between politics and a contractor. It is the same fucking power ecosystem moving through money, office, patronage, and code. The Trump administration disclosed it is using Palantir AI models to sift immigration enforcement tips. At the same time, Palantir was paid $30 million to extend a system designed to locate people flagged for deportation, while ICE’s ImmigrationOS is built for near real time visibility, targeting, and enforcement prioritization. So the same company orbit now sits across war systems, federal data integration, and deportation machinery. And the military side? The Pentagon’s own budget documents placed Maven Smart System and Army Vantage inside the data and application layer used to support top level decision making for the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs, the President, the National Security Council, and the Secretary of Defense. Palantir is not lingering at the edges of the state anymore. It is moving into the bloodstream of command itself. Meanwhile Palantir’s dependence business is paying very, very well. In its 2025 annual report, Palantir said 54% of revenue came from government customers. In its Q4 2025 investor materials, U.S. government revenue hit $1.85 billion, up 55% year over year. Every new emergency, every new border panic, every new military escalation, every new bureaucratic crisis becomes another argument for deeper integration. Many still refuse to understand: When dependency is the product, democracy gets hollowed out quietly. Sovereignty starts migrating into systems the public does not control, cannot audit properly, and will eventually be told it cannot function without. That is the endgame. A state that increasingly operates through private code, private incentives, private lock in, and private political networks on the inside. And once that dependency matures, good luck clawing the power back.

This gets even uglier when you look at what happens after Palantir gets inside a system. It is pure dependency engineering. In Britain, MPs are now openly warning that Palantir is becoming ubiquitous across government, while the same regulator that hired it had already warned that heavy reliance on a small number of big tech firms creates systemic risk. Read that again. Even while taking the deal, they are admitting the model itself is dangerous. And the NHS angle is worse than many people realize. In Parliament, MPs said that after more than £330m, the contract leaves the NHS with no software ownership, no IP, and no lasting know how. The supplier keeps the rights. So the public pays, the private contractor learns, and the state stays stuck renting the machinery. Now add the military side. Palantir’s Maven platform is moving deeper into permanent Pentagon status, with a previous contract ceiling already raised to $1.3b and a separate Army enterprise agreement worth up to $10b. During a recent Palantir event, a Pentagon official even demonstrated how Maven could be used for weapons targeting in the Middle East. People keep pretending this is just “data software” while it is literally being normalized closer and closer to the kill chain. And while all this is happening, Palantir’s CEO is out there defending the company’s surveillance tech as government sales surge. Palantir U.S. government revenue jumped 66% in Q4 2025 to $570m. So no, this is not some edgy startup fighting the machine. The machine is feeding it. Rapidly. This is the warning people need to get through their skulls: You are looking at an unelected operating layer for power. And once the state gets addicted to that layer, good luck removing it before it starts deciding what a society is allowed to see, sort, flag, punish, and optimize. And the Vance angle makes it even darker. J.D. Vance is not some neutral bystander who just happens to be standing next to this machine. He is a political product of Peter Thiel’s network. Thiel hired him into Mithril. Thiel backed his rise. Thiel then poured $15 million into the super PAC that helped shove Vance through the Ohio Senate primary. So when people act like Palantir and the current US power structure are separate worlds, they are lying to themselves. The vice president came out of the same patronage ecosystem that built Palantir. And this is no longer just about “defense tech.” The US government is wiring itself around Palantir as infrastructure. The Army collapsed about 75 separate contracts into 1 Palantir enterprise agreement for its future software and data needs. DHS then opened a $1 billion blanket purchase agreement so agencies like ICE, CBP, TSA, FEMA, and Secret Service can buy Palantir faster and with less friction. That is not ordinary procurement. That is institutional lock in. The military piece is worse still. The Pentagon’s own budget documents already placed Maven Smart System and Army Vantage inside the data and application layer used to support the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs in giving decision support to the President, the National Security Council, and the Secretary of Defense. Read that again. Palantir linked systems are not sitting on the edge. They are moving into the bloodstream of top level state decision making. Then add immigration. So the same company orbit is now sitting across war planning, federal data integration, and deportation machinery, while one of the most powerful men in Washington rose through the patronage network of its chairman. That should terrify people. Because this is how democratic states rot in the digital age. Not when 1 cartoon villain grabs a microphone. When private software, private patronage, and public force merge so completely that nobody can tell where government ends and the contractor begins.

Seth Meyers reminds us how batshit crazy the last 3 weeks have been: Trump fired AG Pam Bondi. He posted a meme of himself as Jesus then said he thought it was a meme of himself as a doctor. He said the Pope is weak on crime. A MAGA podcaster said Trump is under demonic influence. Pete Hegseth read a fake bible verse from Pulp Fiction. Kash Patel thought he was fired because he got locked out of his computer. A FEMA official claims he once teleported to a Waffle House. Lindsey Graham was seen at Disney World by himself. RFK Jr. cut off a dead raccoon’s penis on the side of the road. Kristi Noem’s husband has giant fake balloon boobs.

Why are we worried? We'll explain. Trump has been frothing at the mouth to use a nuclear weapon, and he has talked about it extensively. He's threatened to wipe the Iranian civilization off the map not once, but twice. Even on his campaign trail he's discussed using nukes on Iran. In his first term he was wondering if nuking a hurricane would stop the hurricane. During the 2016 campaign, he reportedly asked a foreign policy advisor three times why the U.S. could not use its nuclear arsenal. He stated on multiple occasions that he wanted to be "unpredictable" regarding his willingness to use nuclear weapons. Following his return to office in 2025, reports indicated that Trump instructed the Pentagon to prepare to resume live nuclear weapons tests for the first time since 1992. Reports emerged in 2019 that Trump had asked national security officials on several occasions if it would be possible to use nuclear bombs to stop hurricanes from reaching the U.S. coast. So yeah, dementia Don definitely has his grubby finger hovering over 'the button'. The USA is holding together by a thread, the citizens on edge as MAGA fractures. Two thirds of the country think he's doing a horrible job - he knows he's going to lose the mid-terms even if he cheats. He knows he's dying. He has NOTHING to lose and his narcissistic petulant ass doesn't give a fuck about taking you and everyone else with him. If he can't live, why should you? To understand Trump's next move, understand his psychology and current state of mind: Frontal Lobe Dementia (social inappropriateness, reduced empathy, loss of inhibitions, compulsive behaviors, and significant apathy) combined with megalomaniacal narcissism (combines extreme narcissism—an inflated sense of self-importance and lack of empathy—with delusional, grandiose fantasies of power and superiority. This behavior, often seen in malignant narcissism, involves dangerous, controlling, and manipulative actions aimed at exerting power over others) - that's not just a fucking powder keg waiting to explode, it's a fuse that is already lit.

A country that has been bombed by America knows what America is. A country that has been sanctioned into poverty by America knows what America is. A country whose elected government was overthrown by American intelligence knows what America is. Only American citizens, sitting inside the country that did all of this, remain genuinely uncertain about what America is. This is not a coincidence. This is the one information environment on earth that was designed, resourced, and sustained specifically to prevent that knowledge from becoming normal. Hollywood. Textbooks. The nightly news. The "national interest" frame that converts every act of imperial violence into a defensive response to external threat. The most sophisticated propaganda operation in history was never aimed at the enemy. It was aimed at home.

In 2006, Trump sold 188 luxury condos in Baja in a single day. Not a single one was ever built. The project was called Trump Ocean Resort Baja Mexico. Three towers, 526 units, oceanfront cliffs in Punta Bandera, 20 minutes south of Tijuana. Buyers put down deposits up to $900,000 USD. What they didn't know is that Trump wasn't the developer. He had licensed his name for $500,000 and had no stake in the project. The 2008 financial crisis hit before construction began, and every deposit was lost. Years later, Trump would say "don't do business with Mexico." Nearly 200 buyers in Baja had already sued him for fraud.

So Trump's desired Fed stooge, Kevin Warsh, is married to Jane Lauder, the 53-year-old Estée Lauder heiress worth $2 billion, and the daughter of far-right Netanyahu- and Trump-supporting Ronald, worth upwards of $4.9 billion. In 2016, Ron gave $1.1 million to "Secure America Now," a group that produced anti-Muslim advertisements, leading to criticism and calls for his resignation from the World Jewish Congress, for which he serves as president. In early 2025, Lauder pledged $5 million to MAGA Inc., a fundraising operation for Trump's extremist movement.
