We welcome the commitment that a Cost of Disability payment will be a feature of Budget 2027, but we also have some key concerns. The wording that that this payment will be 'groundbreaking' doesn’t tell us anything. There is still no information from Government about how this payment will work, how much it might be, and who might be included in it. Irish Wheelchair Association, alongside other organisations and individuals, have fed into consultations about this payment, but the Government hasn’t come back with any suggestions that we could work through in a co-designed way. IWA is calling on the Government to introduce a €55 per week Cost of Disability payment in Budget 2027. This won’t be near enough for many people, but would be a starting point that can be built upon in future years. Read more about what IWA members need from Budget 2027 here: iwa.ie/get-involved/a…

@Nonni2131 @NihiloX I was just about to say the same. I have never heard anyone say Ft Huachuca is in Tucson (because it's actually in Sierra Vista!). Everyone knows that so when I heard that 'some fort in Tucson' line, I knew it was BS. Davis–Monthan AFB is in Tucson. No one confuses the two!

@NihiloX If it was just due to spelling then he would’ve said, “some military fort by Sierra Vista”. He wouldn’t say “Tucson” which he knows is 70 miles away. Only people who are lying do this. So obvious. I can’t say that directly as he blocked me weeks ago. 🙄

You were stationed in Romania very close to where Erika Kirk's charity was and you trained at Fort Huachuca. I’m his only brother and never worked at Ft. Huachuca only went there once for a 3 day TDY and two of those days were travel days as I visited my military police unit training with the base military police from Huacuca. I’m sorry if you’ve heard different you were sadly misinformed. Tucson seemed wonderful the people were great and Tombstone is worth the visit if you get the chance 😄. Have an amazingly blessed day! P.S. wish they’d name it “Some fort in Tucson” would be so much easier to know how to pronounce and spell correctly 🤣
