Suspend Ladi Hassan NOW! As much as I tried to act like I didn’t see Mr. Ladi Hassan with the Turaki-led group, I still can’t ignore it. This is a man who signed a consensus agreement, with the understanding that whoever emerged as the PDP consensus candidate, they would all align and work for that person. God saved H.E. @bukolasaraki for not entrusting this character, “Ladi Hassan,” with the governorship ticket. He would have ditched everyone to be on the wrong side. Ordinarily, we young men have reservations about their set because of that sense of entitlement. I’m not surprised Mr. Ladi Hassan just exhibited what their set is all about. No disrespect. It’s been more than 24 hours since Ladi Hassan displayed those attributes of betrayal, yet both the party and PDP stakeholders have been quiet about it. That silence suggests they’re either aware or complicit in what Ladi is doing. If the party doesn’t know what to do, maybe we concerned members should suggest they suspend Ladi Hassan and his so-called pieces of papers “Turaki form.” YE @bukolasaraki, we the young ones are not disrespecting anybody. But with what’s happening right now, it’s clear that many of them only wear agbada and welcome YE for optics and even eat variates on the table but they are not reliable. Kwara PDP, suspend Ladi Hassan now!

The Audacity of Double-Dealing: Why Kwara PDP Must Suspend Ladi Hassan Without Further Delay ..... In politics, a man’s word is either his bond or his epitaph Loyalty is the currency of politics and Mr. Ladi Hassan is trading in counterfeit notes. For 48 hours, I have strained to extend the benefit of doubt, to excuse what was unmistakably a public display of bad faith. But when a man signs a consensus pact with his right hand and campaigns against it with his left, silence from the party is no longer neutrality, it is complicity. Mr. Ladi Hassan, a signatory to the party sacred consensus agreement, was spotted physically alongside the Turaki-led group and he is the same man who agreed that whoever emerged as the PDP consensus candidate would command the collective support of all signatories. That was the deal. That was the bond. Yet here we are, watching him walk hand-in-glove with a faction actively working to undermine that very agreement. As Machiavelli wrote, “Men are quick to break faith when it suits their interest.” Mr. Ladi Hassan has proven the adage true. His behavior also vindicates the discernment of SEN. BUKOLA SARAKI. Had SARAKI staked the governorship ticket on this man, Kwara PDP would now be nursing a wound of its own making. Mr. Ladi Hassan would have abandoned the structure the moment a shinier distraction appeared. Now, I am not one to generalize about an entire generation. Wisdom is not the monopoly of youth, nor virtue the preserve of elders. But there is a troubling pattern: the sense of entitlement that leads some in that older set to treat collective agreements as optional, and loyalty as a conditional favor. With due respect, Ladi Hassan has become a walking poster for that disposition. The party silence is deafening. If PDP stakeholders have nothing to say after 24 hours, the logical conclusion is either willful blindness or quiet approval. That cannot stand. Kwara PDP must suspend Ladi Hassan immediately which is nothing but tissue paper dressed up as political principle. To the young electorate watching closely: this is not about disrespecting elders. It is about demanding integrity from anyone who seeks to lead. As Barack Obama once said, “The best politics is not a blind loyalty to any person, but a fierce loyalty to principle.” Ladi Hassan chose his side. Now the party must choose its spine. Elon Musk just announced a major strategic pivot for @SpaceX: the company is officially shifting its primary focus to building a "self-growing city" on the Moon. The logic is centered on speed. While Mars missions are restricted by orbital alignments every 26 months, SpaceX can launch to the Moon every 10 days. This allows for much faster iteration and development. @elonmusk estimates that a lunar city could be achieved in less than 10 years. In contrast, a similar presence on Mars is now projected to take 20 or more years to establish. Mars remains on the long-term roadmap with work potentially starting in 5 to 7 years, but the immediate priority is now "securing the future of civilization" via the faster lunar route.
