Plus, I have a job interview». The police officer had the option of applying the law and prohibiting the young man from driving his car, but he decided to listen to his heart. He parked his police vehicle, helped him tie his tie, got into the young man's car and accompanied him to the interview location. They entered together. The #police officer apologized and explained the reason for the young man's delay. They hired him! The young man got the job and obtained a temporary driving license until he raised enough money to renew his license. That's humanity!

In Nigeria, they'd steal the panels before 12 midnight that very day of installation and we'll all have a good laugh about how careless it was to put them there in the first place.

My mother-in-law stayed with us for 4 days and noticed I hadn’t swept the house once. She called me and asked why. I told her we have a cleaner who comes weekly and he was due the next day. The way she looked at me… She asked what exactly I do that I can’t sweep as a young woman, and why I’m “wasting” my husband’s money on a cleaner for a small 2-bedroom. I was about to reply when my husband spoke. He said, “I didn’t marry her to do chores… and it’s just 20k.” she got angry, went inside, came back with a broom and started sweeping. My husband and I just raised our legs for her to pass 😭 She looked at us, dropped the broom, and walked away. She stayed in her room till evening. The next day, the cleaner came as usual… and she left shortly after without saying a word to me. It’s been months now. She hasn’t called. She doesn’t pick mine either. I’m even thinking of calling her with my husband’s phone to beg… but he says I should leave her. I don’t even know what to do anymore. Should I just let her be? Was I actually wrong?

For some months now, I usually eat outside cos of my day to day busy schedules... Infact for almost a year now, have been eating outside since I work in a bakery. So recently, some of my coworker noticed something. No matter the amount of food we buy at our local buka, the maximum time to stay filled is 2hrs then we are hungry again.

I have a sensitive question to ask from a place of love. How are you a sickle cell survivor but don’t look like you’ve been through it at all? 24th January 2022. A day I can never forget. I went to eat at Buka Hut at gbagada, just to treat myself and have a good day. Halfway through, my PERIOD came unexpectedly… and I had no pad, no backup, nothing. I didn’t even know. After eating, I decided to get ice Cream, because why not spoil myself a little more? As I stood up, I noticed people staring… but I didn’t understand why. It wasn’t until I got to the ice cream stand that a guy walked up to me quietly and said: “Excuse me… your backside is stained. Please, take my jacket to cover up.” In that moment, I wanted the ground to open and swallow me. But his kindness… it calmed me. No noise. No embarrassment. Just respect. He gave me his jacket, wrapped it around me, and even offered to order me an Uber home. I insisted on paying, but honestly, I was just grateful someone chose kindness over ridicule. I asked how I’d return his jacket. He smiled and said, “Don’t worry about it.” But I took his number anyway…🥰 Today, that same man is my DARLING HUSBAND.😍 And funny enough, Buka Hut is still our favourite spot till today. ❤️ Sometimes, love doesn’t start with butterflies.🦋 Sometimes, it starts with kindness in your most vulnerable moment.✌🏼💖

This phase is actually very real. I was in a relationship with a guy I met at work. Even before he asked me out, I already had a crush on him, so when he finally did, I didn’t hesitate to say yes. In the beginning, everything was smooth…we were both really into each other, and we spent a lot of time together, going almost everywhere side by side. About six months into the relationship, things started to change. He began having financial issues and was constantly telling me about one problem or another. At first, I tried to be understanding, but it gradually started to get to me. Eventually, it got to the point where I was the one feeding him and even paying for his data subscription. After about a month of that, I started feeling irritated. My feelings began to shift…I wasn’t as excited around him anymore. Anytime he tried to be romantic, I felt annoyed instead of happy. Whenever I see his calls, I feel very annoyed. His “I love you” texts started feeling like he’s wasting my phone battery. I stopped visiting him because each visit became a financial burden, and I was getting tired. I couldn’t stand being around him anymore. At some point, I reached my limit and decided to end the relationship.
