Can we go back to the days when all that matters is the craft? The days we loved posting our work. The days we shared it even when the client said no. Those ignorant days when we did not show what we were paid, but what the client paid for. Can we really go back to sharing our work and getting better? Days when we are not looking for followers. Days when impressions and money do not matter. Can we go back to those days for the sake of the future, for the sake of the growing community? Can we just go back to posting our designs, where everyone is inspired and challenged to do more, not pressured to have more? Days when no one is scared to give opinions on design. Days when we share opinions harmlessly, without making others feel attacked. Days when we speak with grace, love, and respect for each other and the community. Days when growth is progressive, even in public. Days when we are ignorantly chasing growth, not fame. Can we go back to those days? Please. Let us just post designs and do less talking. Or tweet about growth and character, rather than chasing clout through takes.

I hate when artists make it seem like having quality/alot of art materials doesn’t enhance your art. I can’t stop telling beginner artists to always purchase quality tools and add more if they can cause it helps so much. Same with digital. It becomes alot easier when you’re using premium features and good devices. Not lagging phones and spending hours rendering.

I only spent 10days in camp I spent close to 60k on wears and provisions. I didn’t take food from the kitchen not once. I spent nothing less than 150k on food, charging and other necessities. Just get your white uniforms and get some provisions. Carry your cooler for when you wan collect Oshodi tea🙏🏾
