@kwakukhing_ He was trying to emphasize the importance of clinical knowledge. With rigorous examination, proper history taking and clinical reasoning, you don’t need scans and labs for a lot of things. He’s Cuban and being able to function in a resource depleted setting is big to them.

In Nigeria, patients trust lab results more than clinical judgment. If lab results disappeared today, many people would think doctors are finished. Meanwhile, that is where real medicine will actually begin.

We should be a bit truthful o, this is center specific, at 3 a.m most labs are padlocked and it is until morning before you can submit the blood. even if you manage to submit EUCR you are not getting the result until the next day. Creatinine will also not be done

@Softmedic Experience, continuous learning and knowledge about disease is good But you did not answer the questions.

Lowkey another set of people that are overworked in the hospital but don’t really complain are the Lab Scientists. Do you know the number of tests those people run in a day??

@Docfrosh This guyyyyy😭😂 I can't get enough of you😂😂😂😂 Well, you have a right to your opinion, but scrub no go far sha, it's just a work cloth, just because you shouldn't be wearing your normal cooperate wear in the Hospital and it's not a Nigeria thing..

You see someone in scrubs and just assume? Not every woman in scrubs is a nurse Not every man in scrubs is a doctor There are many professions in healthcare Ask before you assume.

Med lab people de this app at all so ? Ahbi na introverts them be?
