It was a tremendous honor to meet with H.E. Mr. Fahad Al Ruwaily, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia 🇸🇦 to France 🇫🇷 and Monaco 🇲🇨 , and Prof. Ghanam Aldossari in the city of Bordeaux, and to attend the signing of a cooperation agreement between Prof. Aldossari, representing the GAD Heart & Lung Institute, and Mr. Alexis Thomas, Deputy Director General of the University Hospital of Bordeaux (CHU de Bordeaux). The agreement was signed under the patronage of His Excellency the Ambassador, and with the support of Prof. Thomas Modine, Head of the Cardiac Surgery Department at CHU de Bordeaux — as part of an official visit I was honored to attend. سعدتُ صباح يوم أمس الجمعة بلقاء محافظ منطقة آكيتين الجديدة وجيروند، السيد إتيان غويو، في مقر إقامته في مدينة #بوردو. تلاه لقاءٌ في مبنى بلدية بوردو مع نائبة عمدة بوردو المسؤولة عن التعاون الإقليمي والأوروبي والدولي، السيدة سيلين بابان. كما زرتُ مستشفى بوردو الجامعي، وقمتُ برفقة عدد من مسؤوليه بجولة في أبرز أقسامه الطبية والبحثية، حيث يحظى المستشفى بمستوى طبي رفيع ويصنف سنوياً في قائمة أفضل المستشفيات العالمية، وصُنِف في التقييم الأخير لمستشفيات فرنسا الذي تصدره مجلة لوبوان في المركز الثاني على مستوى فرنسا، واحتل المركز الأول في عدة تخصصات دقيقة تتعلق بأمراض القلب والأورام وجراحة الأسنان. والتقيتُ بمجموعة من الأطباء السعوديين الذين يواصلون تعليمهم التخصصي فيه، وسرني ثناء أساتذتهم ومشرفيهم على تحصيلهم العلمي المتميز ومستواهم العالي. كما حضرت توقيع مذكرة التعاون الطبي والفني التي جرى توقيعها بين مستشفى بوردو الجامعي و مستشفى الدكتور غنام الدوسري التخصصي لأمراض القلب والرئتين بالخبر، وتتضمن الاتفاقية مجالات عدة، من بينها التدريب والتأهيل، والتعاون المشترك في ابحاث و تطوير تطبيقات الذكاء الاصطناعي في طب القلب و الأوعية الدموية

J’ai été ravi de rencontrer hier le préfet de la région Nouvelle-Aquitaine et Gironde, M. Étienne Guyot à #Bordeaux , suivi par un entretien à l’hotel de ville avec Mme Céline Papin, adjointe au maire de Bordeaux chargée de la coopération régionale, européenne et internationale. J'ai également visité le Centre hospitalier universitaire (CHU) de Bordeaux, l’un des meilleurs hôpitaux de France. Dans le dernier classement annuel des meilleurs hôpitaux français publié par le Le Point, il est classé deuxième en France. J’ai fait une visite à ses services principaux de recherche, et j’ai rencontré un groupe de médecins saoudiens qui y poursuivent leur formation spécialisée. J'ai été heureux d'entendre leurs professeurs saluer leur excellent niveau académique et médical. J'ai aussi assisté à la cérémonie de signature d'un protocole de coopération médicale et technique entre le CHU de Bordeaux et l'hôpital spécialisé de Dr. Ghannam Al Dossari pour les maladies cardio-pulmonaires à Al Khobar. L’accord couvre plusieurs domaines, notamment la formation et la coopération dans la recherche liée à la médecine cardiovasculaire et les applications de l’intelligence artificielle. @CHUBordeaux @aldossari2013 @Alexis_Thomas_h
