@kadaipaneeeer I felt there was nothing more as such about knowledge but yes more about tricks and aptitude and guts.

This year, UPSC really played well. Truly one of the toughest papers in recent years. Elimination and guesswork were barely useful unless you had actually studied certain topics in depth. The statement questions were insanely confusing too, felt like Jasprit Bumrah suddenly bowling slow spinners out of nowhere

UPSC paper setters may think that by making the civil service exam harder, they'll root out coaching institutes. But IRL, coaching institutes benefit the most from it b'cos they thrive on aspirants’ fear. Tougher papers = more anxiety = more fear mongering = more courses to sell
