My AI Insta reel account was a big reason for MAT's initial TestFlight success. I have been creating content with AI for the last couple of months. It's all designed to be focused and curated for creatives. When I launched MAT, @0xParthVora made a reel with our Hermes agent. The reel crossed 36K views and 475 comments, and this gave our TestFlight the initial push it needed. So build distribution manually or with AI; just build it.

300 users from a single reel. we spent months building @rahulbhadoriiya's instagram around design, AI and tech. not a broad audience, specifically the kind of people who obsess over making things look good. then he built mat, an iOS app to make beautiful widgets, and we posted a reel. two creators with more than 600k combined followers saw it, liked it and recreated it on their own. nobody asked them, they just wanted to. that's when it snowballed. people who downloaded the app started making their own reels with it. organic on top of organic. 1700+ lifetime tester. this is what people miss about distribution. it's not about reach, it's about the right audience sitting in the right place. a creator with 10k followers who built genuine trust in a niche will always outrun a brand burning lakhs on ads to randos. build the audience first. the launch almost takes care of itself.

web3 has done more harm than good, specially to marketers. feel so bad for the newbies out here fighting for $50-100 gigs. they still doesn’t know CAC, CRM, performance marketing, funnels, narrative. at least people from traditional marketing backgrounds had SOME foundation to fall back on but the ones who skipped straight to crypto thinking bot farmed impressions, rand x brand collab means partnership. or how conversion works. most of them are not employable outside this bubble and it’s gonna hit different when reality catches up devs atleast can still code for literally any industry.
