22.9M to 22.7M. The downfall of Cockroach Janta Party has officially begun. What started as a “revolution” slowly turned into a directionless campaign. Their follower count kept rising, but so did the doubts. Many people started noticing how a huge chunk of engagement felt artificial, with accusations of bots from Bangladesh and Pakistan boosting the numbers. Then came the biggest turning point. Once Abhishek Dipke was revealed as the admin behind CJP, many people began seeing it as an AAP-backed social media experiment aimed at influencing Gen Z against the government. After that, the cracks became visible. The campaign lost direction, the messaging became repetitive, and people slowly started unfollowing them. A drop of 200K followers is just the beginning. If Instagram ever removes fake and bot accounts properly, the decline could become much bigger. At one point, CJP had momentum and could have become something impactful. But bias and lack of direction ended up destroying the movement from within. Right now, CJP feels like a BMW without a steering wheel. Fast, loud, but completely directionless. A few months from now, people might not even remember CJP existed.
