The introduction of a Visa card with crypto payment functionality in Version 5.0, along with the goal of distributing tens of millions of InterLink Visa Cards to support payments in assets such as USDT, USDC, and Ethereum, is only the beginning. Excited to share a new paper from the cPen Network: "From Labor to Attention: A Token-Economic Framework for the AI Era" As AI automates more and more work, traditional jobs are becoming less reliable as a source of income and stability. At the same time, the explosion of AI and automation is making genuine human attention one of the scarcest and most valuable resources in the digital economy. As AI and automation continue to weaken traditional job-based income, the paper argues that an attention-centered economy may gradually emerge as a complementary layer, giving ordinary people a new way to participate and earn in the digital world, alongside their existing work. We believe this shift creates a major opportunity for fairer systems. The paper introduces ATEM, the Attention-Token Economic Model, a practical framework for rewarding verified human attention with real economic value. Here’s how ATEM works as a self-reinforcing loop: • Attention Capture: Users contribute real attention through simple check-ins, browsing, evaluating content/products, or light tasks, all verified as human (not bots or AI agents). • Attention Monetization: Advertisers and merchants pay for access to this genuine human attention. • Token Distribution: Contributors receive tokens proportional to their verified attention. • Token Absorption: A portion of the real revenue is used to buy back tokens from the market. This ties rewards directly to actual economic demand instead of speculation. This creates a powerful cycle: Revenue funds buybacks → Buybacks support token value → Higher token value attracts more genuine participants → More participants generate more valuable attention → More revenue. Why does @inter_link always prioritize those who stay active and contribute consistently? I want to change the way people think.
