Not a fan of this idea unless a team sends an offer that's hard to turn down. Greenard is still probably the best player on this defense, and there are lots of other ways to create cap space.

I can't see how the #Canucks can bring back Adam Foote next season. This team is going to get even younger. They need a coach who can be both teacher and general. A coach with a coherent system who sets the tone and who can begin to build a culture for the new core to follow.
