Hello everyone, My bible study group and I have been discussing outreaches and ways we can serve others. One of which was a ministry that my sister Faith started last year for the Pine Ridge reservation in SD. We’d like to carry that on this year. With that being said we will begin taking donations for gently used coats, shoes and blankets along with any toiletries: shampoo, soap. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, feminine hygiene products so we can make hygiene packs. We could also take kids learning toys, learning books, coloring books, crayons, etc. We have set up an account for Uncomfortable Ministries so we can take cash, check or Venmo donations as well. We will continued collecting until Nov. 1st. Then Members of The Bible Study will take what money donations we have and go shopping for more shoes. When we are done we will put all donations together and head to Pine Ridge Nov. 8th to share Gods Love with as many as we can. We will head to the reservation and meet with a friend of Faith and I’s George Dreamer. He is a Tribal Leader of Pine Ridge and does ministry on the reservation. He will help us get the items we have to those in need. George is also in an election right now running for his position and we ask for prayers for his favor in the election so he can continue to help his people and spread the word of God. We appreciate anything you can do to help. There will be a drop off bin at MWC Wrestling Academy at 302 E Cary St. Papillion. NE. and Pride Siding, Roofing and Seamless Gutters office. 13221 C St. Omaha, NE. If no one is there when you drop off, please leave them by the door and we will make sure to pick them up daily.
