Nah, I was being a b*tch yesterday. Our sex-ed teacher showed us how to use pads, then pulled out a tampon and said she was not teaching us how to use it. I think she said it was something you used after becoming sexually active. I tried them when I was younger, but I did not understand absorbency and that sh*t felt like barbed wire. I love them now. I am pleasantly surprised some of y’all had good experiences with them young. There were just some girls I grew up with who could barely be trusted with pads, no offense to them.

It’s vastly different in Alabama, than it is in New York City and I didn’t want to assume.

Calm tf down. It's all of the above. Some of the girls in school... You could just smell when their cycle started. 2) I tried one when I was too young and it was extremely painful. 3) Adults forget so I know they would likely forget too. 4) The Sex Ed teacher that was in our district told us not to use them.

Unfortunately I think it stems from the idea that most people don’t see men as victims in sex crimes involving women as the predator which needs to change.

And sentencing guidelines still reflect that. If the boy is equally drunk ONLY he is charged. It's easy to trump up an assault charge though there is leniency for first-time offenders. I knew a married Air Force commander who got blackout drunk and to avoid cheating charges accused the guy who took her home. There was semen which would be used even if she also ejaculated. She had previous computer hacking charges and was in for 2 years. He was a pilot for a decade.

How did he get away for this amount of pain he inflicted on another? She is deeply sorrowful

@finding_jordy @maximilianwifey @jokotagbaposi Because when I was in school, the girls were pretty bad with hygiene. I think they would forget they had one up there. They would really be at risk for toxic shock syndrome.

Mind you they met when she was 14 and he was 30 working as her youth pastor. The dude is clearly an abusive predator and she saw no other way out…

She quite literally saw no other escape from the abuse.
