For people wondering why Wolves were so bad in the first half of the season and why it took a good few weeks to improve under Rob Edwards…they weren’t fit and had a truly abysmal summer transfer window. I'm not getting into teams because that's where fans simply put their club specs on. But both pictures clearly illustrate fouls per laws of the game with both players CHOSING, NOT BEING FORCED to hold an opponent clearly, unambiguously and sanctionable in those laws. EVERY team does it, EVERY PLAYER should have a foul given against them, 100% of the time whether at Wembley or Hackney Marshes.

#wwfc | #WOLAVL Credit where it’s due, that’s an excellent win. Wolves were fortunate not to be behind at halftime and looked lost going forward, but in the second half the hosts really grew into it. In a game that lacked quality, the first moment of magic was the Wolves opener & from then onwards it was the old gold who looked the better side. A nice slice of local pride is always welcome & it’s been a while since we heard Molineux like that. Up the Wolves.
