The debt is not owed by your ancestors, it’s owed by the federal government for violating the 14th amendment of equal protection under the law. Additionally, a violation of Plessy v. Ferguson separate but equal. Until 1968, they got separate right, just not equal! My Lifetime!!!

#HBCUs are needed now more than ever. They’re becoming our children’s only sanctuaries in higher education. Maybe they always were. Maybe we were fooling ourselves and harming our precious babies by forgetting that fact. Maybe it’s time for us to remember, rethink, and readjust.

It’s been a year since the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade. Since then, 14 states have banned most abortions, leaving millions of women and girls with nowhere to turn for the care they need.   And yet, there are reasons to hope.  After Roe v. Wade was overturned, voters in Michigan, California, and Vermont helped enshrine abortion rights in their state constitutions. And governors in states like Nevada, Hawaii, and Pennsylvania have signed executive orders to protect abortion access.
