One for the Gull fans, an absolutely belting Slender-billed Gull soaking up the Portuguese sun. Only saw this one, on its own on a salt pan that was full of water, lovely!

@AdrianDutt Really pleased to see your post Adrian! I dipped the BN Grebes but noticed an odd Tufty on Sunday....delighted to read your confirmation!

Started the year off with the Black Necked Grebes at Cheddar Resevoir. Also male Goldeneye, Goosander and the Scaup. 🐦

Frustrating time at Burnham looking for the Kentish, finally got eyes on a group of 6 Plovers and they flushed, will never know if it was amongst them. This lone Grey Plover was a nice find though.

Our local nature reserve at Uphill, Weston-S-Mare and a great opportunity to see a Red-breasted Merganser at close range. It seems happy feeding and diving on a small ‘boating lake’, nice to get a chance to see all those feather details. @bristolbirding @AVONBTO
