As expected, Cody Rhodes defeats Ricky Saints in his SmackDown debut. I’m seeing people point out that the crowd didn’t react much to Ricky all night. I wouldn’t worry about that. Ricky Starks didn’t get a huge reaction when he debuted in AEW either. It took about a year for him to fully connect, and then he became a major player on the show. I expect the same here. If WWE gives him consistent mic time, lets him stack some wins, maybe even put a title on him down the line, he’ll get over in no time. I am sure the higher ups know Ricky Saints can be a big player for WWE.

@Sebbywebz I haven't played this game in 20 years, but yea as far as u can remember I didn't like the vagrant story feel, boring characters, gambit system meh... but perhaps if I play it now it would be different. Worse than 10, better than 13.

I’ll be covering WrestlePalooza LIVE on Saturday night (obviously) and watching MOST of ALL OUT in the afternoon before hand. When do you think is best to stream? Or even stream at all? Sunday is NFL and it’s silly to me to throw a stream up in the middle of Football Sunday. Unless I wait til Monday afternoon? Maybe do a regular video covering the show, and skip the stream? What happened to the New York Jets' pass coverage? We roll through PIT's first TD of the game. ***And one warning for this season: Jet X will not contribute to this absurd short-attention-span sports media world. All football fans of all types are welcome, but the miserable, internet-tough-guy humans need not watch. (You can comment, though, bc we love when the miserable folks identify themselves. Great fodder for us.)

@RobbySabo You def have to be encouraged by this performance. A fumble is what mainly killed us. If they keep it up, it's going to be a good season.

I know Jets fans don’t wanna hear it yet, but this loss is so much more positive than the 2023 Week 1 win. The New York Jets are a well-coached football team. At least based on one game, it looks great. PIT’s defensive adjustments won them the game. They were getting blown off the ball in the first half. With Watt and Highsmith to stay home outside, they kept plugging the middle with run blitzes, crashing, etc., forcing the Jets into a spot where Fields HAD to take control downfield, but it didn’t happen to an effective enough degree (ran out of time to make them pay). Aaron Rodgers can still play, ladies and gents. Still, Jets D needs some serious work. Can they legit stop the run? Not sure yet. Engstrand and OL, unbelievable job. A+.
