Well done to the 2 teams who've just completed their Bronze DofE Practice Expedition. They're now skilled up with nav, camp cooking and pitching tents, ready for their assessed expeds later in the year.

Yesterday our #Finchale Female #Veteran contingent enjoyed a great outdoor action-packed team building day @AdventureCentre They started the day with a lesson in archery. Followed by a bushcraft lesson, high tea with homemade jam & oatcakes, with rice parcels for starters.

An enjoyable evening with @CLS_Centurions Explorer Scout Unit at @AdventureCentre for night time activities, hot dogs and hot chocolate on open fires. What a great way to start our 2022 Explorer Scout meetings. @clsscouts

Congratulations to the three leaders from our district who successfully completed their Archery GB Instructor Award @AdventureCentre and who were subsequently granted their archery permits. Our District Commissioner also tagged along to join the fun!

This term of Forest School is already over! For our last day we made some colourful forest artwork, and everyone went away with a special medal! We're looking forward to starting a brand new term next Monday! 🌿🌺🌳
