My knowledge of 06 is very limited so I'm a bit confused. Is Silver in a constant timeloop? Why does Iblis keep coming back if he's killed them already?

Above the tally marks for every time he's killed Iblis, there's a cute doodle of him. He's fought Iblis "half his lifetime". So Silver was about 7 when he started. The same day, Silver grabbed a rock and carved this doodle of it. This was his childhood. He really was just a kid.
