Alabama A&M University, Alabama’s largest #HBCU, has officially achieved record enrollment for the third consecutive year. AAMU’s official student count for the fall semester is 7,808 – the largest enrollment in the institution’s 150-year history. Only 7% of librarians are Black! Rodney Freeman’s documentary is telling the stories of Black librarians and showing why we need more! Kids often feel empowered when seeing people like them in leadership positions. We need more Black librarians to inspire the next generation!
