These last days made me think a lot about the whole "culture vs growth" debate around SPX and the Cores collection. I’ve already said what I had to say about it. But it really hits a nerve for me, because I’ve lived something very similar before in the 90s techno scene. Back then techno was still underground (as weird as it may sound today) and pretty controversial. Going to a party felt like a mission: police roadblocks, warehouses getting shut down, administrative bans, constant pressure. I was a techno DJ "Terry Lee" from 95 to 2005, vinyl only (my back still remembers how heavy it was). Digging for new records every week at my local record shop, chasing flyers, making connections… I played with artists like Agoria, and I knew Daft Punk as DJs and producers years before Homework. And I think a lot of people who "love Daft Punk" today wouldn’t even recognize or enjoy some of their early raw stuff. That era was dirty, repetitive, very dancefloor focused. No polish. No “radio” ambition. Just energy. When Homework came out, most of the underground scene was actually happy only a few people started to doubt. We had been fighting for years, and suddenly our sound was escaping the underground. The idea that tracks like "Around the World" could be played on mainstream channels felt unreal. If you listen to it on a proper sound system, you realize that beneath the melodic, almost naïve surface, the bassline is a pure dancefloor killer something that hits your body and your soul. Then one year later… the first Techno Parade happened in Paris. And at that moment it was clear: the door was open, and the scene was no longer "ours" in the same way. After that, the rest became history. But when Discovery came out, the underground backlash was brutal. A lot of people said they “sold their soul”, that it wasn’t techno anymore, that they became a pop act. And honestly… I was part of that crowd too. I also know incredible artists who stayed 100% loyal to the original spirit. Same codes, same aesthetic, same frame. Some had great careers at their level. But none of them had the same cultural resonance. With hindsight, I don’t think Daft Punk changed out of greed. I think they changed because they wanted to explore different worlds. No album sounds like the previous one and that became their identity. What I respect the most is that even with massive success, they managed to keep their anonymity and artistic freedom until the end. I can only recommend watching Daft Punk Unchained documentary. I don’t have a clean conclusion for SPX. I just know every living culture eventually reaches this moment where growth feels like betrayal to the people who were there early. So I’m genuinely curious what you all think: how do we grow without losing the soul and without becoming afraid of evolving? Ily ♥️

Le token a maintenant plus de 2 ans d’existence. Il a traversé plusieurs corrections de -70 % et plus. Quel impact sur les holders ? Aucun… si ce n’est renforcer encore davantage la communauté autour de la mission. Les gens ne vendent pas. Ils continuent d’accumuler. Le prix monte → la croissance est là. Le prix baisse → la communauté grandit encore plus. C’est une évolution constante, qui ne faiblit jamais. Parce que rien n’arrête ceux qui persist forever 💹🧲 La liquidité arrivera. C’est inévitable. Cela peut prendre des mois, peut-être des années. Serons-nous encore là d’ici là ? Oui. Mais avec une offre encore plus limitée qu’aujourd’hui. La question n’est pas de savoir si nous atteindrons 10 $, 100 $ ou plus La seule vraie question est : quand. Peu comprennent. Beaucoup suivront.
