@iCheckVibes Would go on @unitygames site they have some great tutorials for getting started
English

@aerial_knight I'm loving Drop Shot BTW. I have an idea for a game, I want it to be a very small project but I have no coding exp with C++ or C#. I'm looking for resources that would help me learn to create games as if I were in high-school. Any tips would help.
English

@aerial_knight I've already spent 4 years not making it, what's a couple more?
English

@BigBadBattery yeah really just depends on what you're trying to make
English

@aerial_knight This hypothetical is also just for producing it, not marketing or anything.
English

@n8strength man its crazy to insult me then think ima keep talking to you. have a good one homie
English

@aerial_knight I’m just trying to make a game and get my developers paid. I don’t ever think I’ll get rich off one.
I just want to put my game in my community’s hands.
I remember playing “Scroched the Earth” back in the 90’s just from word of mouth.
English

@n8strength Damn well this took as turn lol, Well i wish you the best, good sir lol
English

@aerial_knight I’m not trying to do me. I’m trying network and converse.
You out here just being bitter. No wonder your game sucks. And I bought them lol
English

@n8strength you dont need a publisher you can hand out copies on a flashdrive if you want to. but if you spending 500k I would hope youre on something other then itch.io which is dope and all but i dont know if your making your money back
English

@aerial_knight So I need a publisher as well??? I can’t release it on itch.io???
English

@n8strength Hey, you asked me how wrong you were lol, Do you big dog 🤷🏿♂️
English

@aerial_knight You asked me how I would do it and you asking for features I ain’t worried about.
I can find some beat makers in my city. I don’t need online, it’s a small indie game. And we got parsec anyway.
English

@aerial_knight 2D Fighter based on bootleg superhero’s. Blankman can be a guest character.
I think my team could do it if you Give us a beatmaker, 2 concept artists, and a couple of those people who Mod DBFZ, with $500k and 18 months
Tell me how wrong I am. I want to know what I have to do
English

@n8strength Only Blankman... (Thats what a publisher is going to say to you) it would be a odd choice to be the face of your game as only some 90's kids would get it
English

@aerial_knight That’s it?
I thought you would comment more about the budget? Each original character needs to get trademarked? No licensed characters except for the 1 (Blankman)
English

@n8strength you also need to have music, animation, UI etc. all which would have to be made from scratch. Moders move fast because they are starting with a system and framework whihc you wouldnt really have unless you paid for. Im also guessing you'd want it to be online... lol yep
English

@n8strength You're very wrong; you would need more than 18 months to get your trademarked characters approved. And you couldn't really start working on any of them till you did. Sure you could use placeholders but you also have to hope the Moders even want to work on your game
English

@chilphil_ The fact that you would have money to outsource and it's 3D already means it's most likely going to be more than 2 years, homie
English

@aerial_knight Need to do some research on how much it costs to outsource the various 2D/3D requirements (hard surface, models, etc.) but given that I would probably handle all the other stuff such as development and other stuff - I’d ballpark 1-2 years.

Aerial_Knight retweetledi

@MiseryNot for a differet perspective, its a lot of effort some something most of their players don't care about. and its unlikely to increase sales or the rating of the game
English

@aerial_knight good to know alot of devs fail to make the most of all the gamerscore the games allow them to add.
English

@IGN I never liked per-episode reviews for TV shows, got to judge the season as a whole just like we do games
English

The Boys Season 5 reaches its low point in Episode 4, a largely pointless detour for the series that relies too much on forced character drama.
