New “VTubers” debut with heavy NSFW models and immediately push subs, PPV, and lewd content instead of building actual streaming skills or lore. The cute idol/waifu culture that made VTubing special is getting drowned in low-effort coomer bait. Talented SFW creators get outpaced by those who just sell thighs and moans. The barrier to entry dropped from “be entertaining” to “have a sexy model and an OF link in bio.” The audience is shifting too. Real fans who loved the hobbyist energy are leaving, replaced by people treating every VTuber like premium camgirls with extra steps. VTubing is becoming less about virtual performance and more about virtual OnlyFans with better production value. We’re losing the soul of it.

I had an industry contact message me after he went to PAX last weekend saying:
"I had a few people at PAX pull me aside to tell me about the "optics" of associating with you and Side Scrollers.
People who don't even follow me needed to tell me that you guys are "bad"
The industry legitimately hates anyone who thinks differently than they do."

These people have been broken beyond repair to the point to where they can't even laugh at this insanity.

@Sethisto First two seasons Luna had Takako Honda (voice of Anko Mitarashi from Naruto) voicing her. Then she got replaced. I don’t know who because the VA isn’t really credited because the intro and outro segments the JP dub was known for in S1&2 were just outright removed after S2

@HelpTheWretched Honestly for what it has so far, my only issue was the WW_Ganondorf_Final_TriforceLaugh1–3 omits a short laugh between 2&3 and the rest of the laugh that lasts ten seconds after 3 is also omitted.
Otherwise from that, all of the ones on the site thus far are goated.

Part of why Zelda Sounds is so outdated is due to the pressure of feeling so fallen-behind. I have not even played BotW once!
The site may soon be rebranded as "Classic Zelda Sounds" to alleviate this. The older stuff still has room for improvement.
